We rented one of the villas, and it was amazing! The foghorn that some people mentioned in reviews we never heard at all. The views across the street were amazing. It is only about half an hour from San Francisco, which was a nice drive. It is relaxing and I'm glad we opted to stay outside of the city. Would...

I was not sure about this hotel when I booked a room without ever having been inside but I was very pleased. The room was one overlooking the harbor with a king bed and sitting area. You could not hear the fog horn unless you were listening for it, the noise from the hallway was a different story. It is...

Our weekend away had us packing up early Sunday to go home (Central Valley) to get some sleep. The bathroom was so small.....how small was it? it was so small that two people could not fit into it unless one was in the shower. The fog horn.........enough said. The actual room was nice and clean - tried to close the...

I was very disappointed with this hotel for a number of reasons. I try to always be fair and honest. But our stay here was just miserable. I'm a very light sleeper, I expect good service, clean room, pillows with structure/shape, and a comfortable bed. We stayed in Room 202 a Deluxe King Suite(this past Saturday). The Foghorn: I should've...

Pleasant hotel and rooms comfortable BUT the foghorn which we were not aware of on booking was constantly going throughout the night which resulted in very little sleep - the ear plugs provided did not mask the noise and resulted in a not very relaxing stay . Would not choose to stay again despite the hotel being nice . Stars...

Too many things are wrong at this hotel. 1. TV sound is badly distorted. 2. Overcrowded room filled with funny looking furniture. 3. Two drawers below TV are not supported, so not functional. 4. sheer granite panels around bathtub offer no handholds, making it unsafe and risky to get in and out of the tub/shower. 5. Impossible to regulate hot/cold...

We only stayed one night but I loved the location and we had a unit with 2 bedrooms and full kitchen. Very spacious and clean. Nice restaurants within easy walking distance. I would stay there again if in the area.

We stayed one night as we travelled down the coast. We used a g-r-o-u-p-o-n for a decent rate. The room was in the annex facing the parking lot and highway. That wasn’t bad except that we were right over the receiving dock so any deliveries or trash collection happened under our room. The room was huge - a kitchen, table,...

We recently spent two nights at the Oceano. I had stayed there two years ago and loved it, and decided to go back with my husband. It is one of the best bargains on the coast. The rooms are huge, with a separate sitting area and balcony overlooking Half Moon Bay and the fishing harbor. There are several restaurants within...

Ours was a one night visit on a trip from LA to San Francisco. We used a Groupon and were allocated a deluxe room on the second floor of the separate building in front of the main hotel. Although lacking a balcony, this proved to be very comfortable and we could look directly across at the harbor while the gas...
