If you like quiet , comfort and a wonderful breakfast, then stay here. The hostess was amenable and helpful; she also cooked a great breakfast! About 5 minutes from Wellington, just wish we had more time to explore.

We stayed here for two nights as we were attending a wedding. On arrival we were met with tea and cake and a rumbustious welcome from Inca Louise's dog ( she checked we were okay with dogs before Inca was allowed to meet us). Our family joined us the next day so we took over all three rooms. We had...

Really super review - thank you for coming to stay too. I do not always remember to ask guests if they are happy about bouncy dogs -I must admit! I need to do it each time, as she does adore guests arriving and wants to let them know. Best wishes, Louise

Have recently spent a night here in glorious weather and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cider Barn. We had a room on the ground floor with its own entrance, perfect for your own independence and also providing a very pleasant, sunny, sitting-out area. The barn has been beautifully converted and the room was light and airy, very clean, with...

The host Louise made us feel welcome from the beginning right through to the end of our stay. Comfortable for two with adequate facilities. Comfy beds and a good shower are always important. Lovely peaceful hamlet with walks, birds, wildlife and picturesque nature. A home away from home.

My partner and I stayed for one night mid week, as we were checking out a possible wedding venue and opted for something a bit different to the usual Travelodge stays and was pleasantly surprised at how nice this B&B was. We have stayed in these types of accommodation before, so knew what to expect. Being able to come and...

We stayed in the beautiful West Apartment in the barn on a self-catering basis. All the rooms were beautifully designed with excellent quality fixtures, fittings and furniture and lovely rustic features like beams, deep windowsills and oak panel doors. There was free wifi, although it wasn't the best signal in the world. The lounge looks over the gorgeous garden, with...

My wife and I stayed for two days with my daughter. This is an inspired barn conversion with a very pleasant terrace outside where we had tea on arrival with cake provided by Louise. Both rooms looked out onto a pleasant garden. Just in front of the house there is open rolling countryside with footpaths down to the River Tone...

This is a beautifully converted barn with a pretty garden outside the bedrooms which are on the ground floor. Our room was very attractive but the chairs were those old-fashioned nursery ones which are very low to the ground – not easy for older people to get out of. However there is a nice sitting room at the other end...

A beautiful barn conversion with a lovely feeling of tranquility set in beautiful rural surroundings. Our room was tastefully decorated with a lovely en suite with doors out onto a pretty seating area where you can relax and just listen to the birdsong. This, coupled with a very nice breakfast, made for a lovely couple of days stay whilst we...
