The hotels and motels of this coastline are either high cost or budget and nothing much in between. This falls into the latter category so do not be expected a boutique type motel. The owners are very friendly and our room was a decent size and clean. Everything worked and the beds were comfortable. No air con but our room...

We booked the Seaview Inn for one night on a journey from San Francisco to Ventura, it was a Saturday night and was one of our most expensive nights on a 10 day tour (we paid less for a room in the heart of San Francisco!), the gentleman behind the desk was monosyllabic to say the least! We had the...

We needed place to stay while visiting family and this place was perfect. Very simple. Basic. Economical. Clean. Easy to get to from Hwy 101. In the bathroom you get shampoo and soap and a hair dryer. On the Queen bed there were just 2 pillows. We asked for 2 more pillows so we could sit up in bed and...

The motel itself is an average 2-3 star motel. Small, mostly clean. The bed was ok but bring your own pillow. If staying ask for upstairs. If your on the ground floor don't take the room near the 'smoking post' it's at the foot of the backstairs. We had the room right at the bottom of the stairs and people...

Spent Friday night at the hotel after being on the beach and sand dunes all day went with several friends from the town we live in. Several people brought tents and trailers and stayed on the beach. We picked this hotel for its price and location very close to the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice flat screen...

Stayed here with a short booking time (2 weeks notice). It was parent's weekend at Cal Poly and couldn't find a reasonably priced room in SLO. Distance was easy to SLO. Odd set up. Room was probably built for one bed and added a second so it was tight quarters. No clock in the room, and very poor wifi, you...

We went to a wedding and stayed here for the weekend. On booking.com we paid $99 per night. It was clean, but not large. This is not a motel with frills, but it worked well for us. We had room 21 which faced the street, but still quiet. It seems like all of Grover Beach was very quiet. It was...

My daughter & I stayed at this motel on Saturday 9/6/14. Anticipating a quiet restful night. The room was clean & the innkeepers fine. But much to our dismay. When we pulled into the inner parking lot. It was full of bikers drinking & partying around 3:00 pm. I want to make it clear I have no problem with bikers...

Overall this motel was exactly what you'd expect for the price. A kindly older couple runs the place and seems to live in a small apartment behind the office. They were a bit nervous in my opinion, and seemed very wary about being taken advantage of. My only real complaint, though, is that on the morning of my checkout, they...

This is the sweet little beach motel (its a 13 minute walk to the beach ) . Complete with the sweet couple, Harry and his wife Ina, who greet you with a smile as you come in the door and also live on site. Harry and Ina were so sweet every time I saw them they had a hello and...
