Yosemite was the highlight of our trip to California despite heavy Easter crowds in the park itself. Blackberry Inn is a beautiful sanctuary miles away from any crowds but with relatively easy access to Yosemite National Park (provided the 120 is not suffering from rock falls) and the Hetch Hetchy reservoir. These are the well known sights but there is...

We stayed in Blackberry Inn for 2 nights with our family of 6 (3 rooms) and enjoyed very much our choice. We much appreciated Steve's honesty in warning us prior to coming over that the direct entry to Yosemite had been closed for road works after rock slides & the suggestions for alternatives. We were offered picnic lunches to compensate,...

We wanted the best for our 30th wedding anniversary trip and we found the BlackBerry Inn. There are many reasons the BlackBerry Inn is rated #1 in Groveland. I only wish I were an eloquent writer so as to give the owners Steve and Alex the Premier review the Blackberry Inn deserves but here goes. First and foremost, Mr. Steve...

If where you stay during your vacation is an important choice, then may I suggest you stay at the Blackberry Inn when you visit Yosemite? We spent two nights there in April. We have been B&B hosts for close to 30 years near another national park, and we wanted to stay somewhere special. Blackberry is indeed memorable and special. It’s...

Blackberry Inn is rated number one for a reason. The inn is well maintained, staff pleasant and attention to detail is superb. Breakfast was delicious, especially the quiche. Steve was not only a gracious host, he was willing to assist with anything we needed. Steve also was wonderful with the knowledge of the surrounding area. We highly recommend the BlackBerry...

We really enjoyed our stay at The Blackberry Inn. The B & B was very quiet and very tastefully decorated. Our host Steve provided us with great recommendations on hiking trails in Yosemite Park. The snowmelt and abundant rain this spring made the waterfalls spectacular. Breakfasts at the inn were outstanding and more elaborate than what we have at home.

We wanted to find somewhere close enough to see all of the sights within Yosemite, without feeling like we were part of a herd! The Blackberry Inn was spot on. We had a 2 night stay and managed to see everything that we wanted to see using the Inn as our base. The breakfast was delicious. The styling of the...

Our stay at this lovely B and B was perfect. The decor is beautiful. The innkeeper was attentive and helpful. The breakfasts and servers were great. We stayed in one of the houses where our breakfast was delivered to us. Treat yourself. It is first class in every way. The inn's proximity to Yosemite is good. It did require a...

This is a wonderful Inn, very quiet and peaceful and about 30 minutes drive from the park entrance. In our view this is a much better option than staying in the valley with the crowds especially as the drive is not exactly unpleasant. We were in the Bridalveil Falls room which is on the ground floor in the separate annex....

Given the very limited hotel offering in the area, this place turns out to be an excellent choice, close to the park, very comfortable, many nice small details, and nicely decorated in country style. Professional welcome by the owner who is also very precise (and somewhat too demanding) as to the rights and obligations of the customers. One of the...
