Step back in time in this quaint hotel / previous boarding house. The new owners are doing a great job renovating with updated amenities while keeping the historic value alive. Fork and Love restaurant proved to be excellent with a unique wine pairing dinner for Valentines Day. And an awesome Sunday Brunch we hope they continue. (Rosemary biscuits w/ Gravy!...

We have visited Groveland a few times and always stay at the Hotel Charlotte. They never disappoint! The hotel is warm and friendly even on a cold rainy October night. I love the mix of contemporary and old west style. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot and the food downstairs in the restaurant was perfect. Can't wait for our...

I stayed here in July on a trip through Yosemite and picked Hotel Charlotte because it was the closest hotel i could get to the National Park being the summer. I arrived late afternoon and checked in. When i checked in there was an elderly looking woman behind the desk who looked me up and down in a judgmental way...

I booked this hotel via the website, it did not explain at the time of booking that when we arrived it would be 'out of season'. If it had done we would not have booked and I would recommend anyone considering to stay at this hotel DO NOT STAY or BOOK THIS HOTEL. One night at 7.45pm we stayed in...

We stayed here for two nights to explore Yosemite. Really great value. The rooms are immaculate and reminds of a Western movie. The staff are friendly and feels like a home from home. The town itself is small and compact with the Iron Door Saloon across the road and a mexican restaurant nearby. A great alternative if you do not...

We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Charlotte. It is warm and cozy and the owners are so lovely and helpful too. They lent us a hand with our luggage and even a toddler carrier for our walk to see the giant sequoias. We just love independent, family owned stays as it is always personal and well-thought of. It is...

We loved it. People at the reception were also very friendly. Driving there at night was a bit tricky cause google maps sent us...

We chose here for last stop in our Thanksgiving getaway. Cozy, friendly and warm! We got upgraded to a bigger room. So nice! Also, we had a excellent dinner in "Fork & Love" restaurant just beside the hotel. Must try it when you stay here! I really enjoyed and love to come back soon! Highly recommended.

I'm surprised at all the glowing reviews of this place. It's not a bad hotel, but it's not great....and definitely not worth the close to $200/night price....either. I arrived late at night, driving around in the dark trying to figure out where the hell a person was supposed to park. It turns out there are 2 ways to get behind...
