Frindly, clean, very quiet. Small grass yards. A trail around the pond to walk your dogs. Lots of trees. Was pretty full, should call in advance for reservations. Would stay again. Plunty of space for children to play.

Stayed here in June while attending a friend's wedding. Not a resort, by any means, but it is clean and close to Nevada City and Grass Valley old towns, which are both very nice to explore. As has been noted, this is the only RV facility in the area and is not always available due to festivals, etc. at the...

We stayed for a week while our daughter was closing on her new home in Grass Valley. Convenient location to shopping center with all conveniences including both Peets and Starbucks and even Jamba Juice and a supermarket (Raleys) Clean bathrooms and showers. We only used water and electric site and just paid the dump fee as needed. Stocked lake for...

The Fairgrounds RV and camping area is a quiet, laid back, low key affair. There are tall pines, a large pond, and some trails to wander. The grounds are spacious enough that one's sense of solitude is not impinged upon. Dennis, the camp host, is an awesome character, always with a ready smile and a gentle sense of humor. Liz,...

We camped here for 3 nights in our 30 foot travel trailer. Campground is beautiful, with easy access to town. We had to take a site without sewer hookups, but was told restrooms, with showers, were available. The only amenity was WiFi, but we were ok with that. Was very disappointed in the bathrooms close to the water and electricity...

The fairgrounds RV park was designed to accommodate fair attendees who are traveling in RVs, but is also available to the public at other times. Gravel pads with water, power, sewer and wifi in an open field. Older, but well-maintained, showers and rest rooms. Place was clean and quiet. Staff and reservations were friendly and efficient. Oddly, the Grass Valley...

Camped here with other friends in a fifth wheel over Memorial Weekend. What a great find. No crowds, beautiful pond and surroundings. Close to amenities. Will return someday. Only negative was the $10 charge for a picnic table.

Lots of old trees, large spaces, very close to shopping, restaurants, bars, markets, hiking and activities. Easy access, clean restrooms with showers. No amenities but it didn't matter as there's lots to do in Grass Valley. We stayed here in a 37 foot motor home and would stay there again.

Well...the fairgrounds host the annual Nevada County Fair, as well as camping, and other events...but we went for the Fair. The drive up is beautiful...we came from Roseville, CA. Beautiful Pines, and trees as far as the eyes can see. The Fairgrounds are easily approached from 49. There are two shopping centers right off of 49, with places to eat...Raley's...

We just returned from a wedding in Grass Valley. Instead of paying $130/ night at the hotel that the wedding group suggested, we decided to look for other lodging arrangements in the area. We have a trailer and we decided to look into staying at a campground. We booked at the NV County Fairgrounds because it was cheap, cheap, cheap....
