So I should start by saying the reservation process did not go smoothly. Confirmation email never came after booking on line. I called, they resent, it still never arrived. We showed up to the hotel wondering if we actually had a reservation. Anyway, that worked out but not great service there. The location was excellent with awesome restaurants walking distance....

My wife and I hadn't taken a vacation in almost two years and needed to get away. We decided to make California's wine country our next destination and saw a LivingSocial deal for Hope-Merrill. We decided to pull the trigger and book a stay for four nights, and I'm glad we did. We had a great time in Geyserville, the...

We spent 2 nites at the inn and it was enjoyable. Great breakfast and we enjoyed Cosette's morning commentary. She knows a lot about the area and the wineries. Gave some good tips and provided a nice map for us to use. The common areas are nice. Could use a bit of yardwork. Room was OK but the bed was...

I stay here every time I come to Geyserville. Cosette & Ron are very hospitable and are extremely knowledgeable regarding questions I have about the area. The property is beautiful! The gazebo area showcases gorgeous vineyards and a cute courtyard. The rooms all have their own theme, are very clean, and come with wine glasses should you bring a bottle...

Being someone who has stayed in many B&B Inns, this one is the worst one, in shabby condition, that I have ever stayed in. And for the money we spent here?? The breakfast was delicious, and yes the Inn keeper did control a lot of the conversation. This Inn clearly needs a lot of TLC and our bed creaked just...

I used the online form to REQUEST a reservation for one room for one night. I received no confirmation. The website indicates that a reservation is not made until the request is reviewed and a confirmation sent by email. I received NO confirmation and thus assumed I had NO reservation. Apparently I was wrong as they billed me for two...

We recently finished the 2 nd weekend of our "pick and press" stay at Hope Merrill. Our first weekend was in September to pick and crush grapes to make our own wine. We shared this project with 3 other couples. Last week we went back to taste, blend, bottle, and label our wine. Not only was it a great time,...

From our check in to our departure we were treated to a unique experience by proprietors Ron & Cosette. Their friendliness and knowledge of the area were true assets an added to our enjoyment of the weekend. Room was very nice, large and well appointed. Comfortable bed. The town is small but close to a number of areas with just...

Geyserville is the perfect location for wine tasting in the Dry Creek Area. Quaint town and friendly town folks. Checked in and were rudely treated by Innkeeper Cosette. I agree that she is odd and judgmental. On a very busy weekend event Annual Winter WINEland the four of us were the only ones in the Inn. Very bad sign. This...

We stayed here for two nights on a random wine country trip. It was great. Our breakfast was awesome, not just for the food but our hostess Cosette gave us all sorts of good info about the wineries in the area. We were in the downstairs room with the jacuzzi bathtub which was great to say the least. And their...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Inn is located in Geyserville, a small town in the fertile Alexander Valley, where the traveler will enjoy some of the most spectacular views of the wine country in California. Nothing is more beautiful than the vineyard scene, and the vineyards of the north coast of Sonoma County are some of the most magnificent in the world. The Inn offer a grand view of Geyser Peak, the worlds largest geothermal field, and the steam clouds rising from the Geysers are prominent above the surrounding hill area. Guests enjoy the rural atmosphere and wine buffs can take advantage of the wine tasting at small wineries located along the back roads of the Russian River Wine Trail.
