Husband and I took a last minute trip to Crescent City, CA and needed a place to stay the night. Stumbled upon this place and I'm so glad we did. Its a pleasant, quiet location with clean rooms, clean bathrooms, and an on-site restaurant and bar. I especially liked falling asleep to the sound of the little creek on the...

Great rooms. Great food. Great and totally appropriate live music on weekends and special occasions.. Polite, friendly, efficient staff.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The exclamation marks are to complete the 200 character requirement.

I have been here three times in the past and will be there two more times in the near future. I stay at least one night and just enjoy the atmosphere and great staff. The food is great also. Almost a blast from the past.

This place was recomended by a friend and described as "rustic" which i took as log cabin style furniture, big glowing fire in the fire place, leather furniture etc. We were late getting there and received a call that they closed the front desk at 8:30 so they'd leave the keys taped to the window for us. We showed up...

The lodge and it's surroundings grounds are are wonderful. You're right off the river and there is even a lit trail down to the river and an adjoining campground. We stayed in one the motel rooms (#6) and though it was as described in other reviews a bit tired and in need of some updates the bed was very comfortable,...

Stayed here for one night en route from Ashland, OR to the California coast...it's a very old and somewhat charming inn right off beautiful Highway 199, and a decent place to put your head down for a night's rest. The rooms are a bit dark and the linens tired, but the bed was comfortable and the water hot - and...

The lodge itself is in a wonderful, isolated location near the Smith River (bring something to float on, the river is really exceptional). The rooms are dated, but large and relatively cozy and the grounds of the lodge are gorgeous. Our biggest gripe was the restaurant. Main courses start at about 22 bucks and they're nothing special at all -...

I'll bet this is a historical paradise in the summertime (has an outdoor pool!), but, in October, it's more like a ghost town. We were one of two vehicles in the parking lot that night. The biggest complaint I have is that our room had no heat. The heating systems are the old gas type, and, apparently, no one checked...

My friend and I stayed one night at Patrick Creek Lodge and felt the vibes of this old inn seep into our travel-weary bones. Our room was comfortable and quaint, complete with 2 windows overlooking Patrick Creek. We dipped our toes into the creek when we arrived, as it was 90 degrees on this mid-summer day. Dinner was quite good,...
