The Humboldlt Redwoods Inn is the standard price for a motel and very dirty. It is hard to get a good night's sleep with the hair of previous guests in the bed (and in the tub and on the towels). There are many other resonably priced places to stay so we won't be back.

We had reservations through Expedia for New Years Eve, 12-31-12. When we arrived at this hotel, there was no one there. No one in the office, and not a single car in the parking lot. We rang the bell which no one answered and waited in our car in front of the door for 20 minutes. We tried calling their... More

We had put in a long day traveling up the coast and over the mountains. We wound up in Garberville fairly late in the day, with no reservations , so we were pleased to find this unpretentious but comfortable place at the top of end of Redwood Drive. The price was right , the room was comfortable and as Moloves... More

Had a great time at this nice, cozy, inexpensive inn! Staff met every request with a smile. Beds comfortable. Rooms clean. Surrounded by redwoods. Can use a lil makeover but then again it fits the vibe of Garberville. ;)

Excellent little hotel that was inexpensive, safe, clean, and all around awesome! also great air conditioning as it was hot over the labor day holiday weekend. We also liked the cute little tables to have our lunch outdoors and feel the breeze. Mark the manager was extremely friendly and we got our room right away even though we arrived earlier... More

Very accommodating for visiting Garberville. The innkeeper Mark was eager to please all. LOVED the rooms with the balcony. Easy access off the 101. The pool was closed , however who needs a pool when the beautiful river is just minutes away.

We were given a dark room, whose windows did not get a drop of sunlight ever. The carpet was filthy, and blankets didn't look too clean either. Mattresses comfortable, though, and room was quite large. It lacked electrical outlets for those traveling with electronics. The bathroom was clean. The neighboring room was a weed-smoking den, and the air coming out... More

I thought I had entered my review in late April 2012 when I was there. A dirty, smelling place. When we arrived we were given a room where it appears that someone had given a hair cut in the bathroom with dark hair every where and piles on the floor that were moving!! The next room was not much better,... More

What people don't understand is that it's a small town, a really small town. It's not some huge motel chain with some random fake person working the graveyard shift for check ins. The people here have character, the beds are comfy (don't know where the other reviewer got the idea it was like sleeping on a floor, unless the have... More
