I recently had the pleasure of accompanying the family that I nanny for to the Forest House Lodge for a wedding they were attending. Children were not welcomed at the ceremony and the reception, and so, I went along to be with the 20-month-old that...More
Please don't mistake Forest Hills Lodge as a 5 star resort. However we had the time of our lives at a recent wedding. The staff was great! Much better than some of the recent 5 star places I've stayed. They were down to earth, and...More

I really don't know. I would call if I were you. I recall staying there and then coming back a year later and it was weddings only and then coming back the next year and it was open again for rooms and then I came back the next year and so on and so on. So there is no easy answer for this one but it's a great place to say. Its a throwback like an old log cabin type Lodge right in the heart of town which is about a block long. I hope this helps but call them they can answer the question they seem to not know. It might be because of ownership ownership changes that would be the only explanation that I could think of.
