I think this is my most favourite hotel ever. Located just outside of Yosemite it provides a wonderful base for any excursion into this beautiful part of the world. The hotel offers some beautiful, well maintained rooms and the lobby , with its comfy seating and gorgeous fireplace is just a really gorgeous place to be. The hotel offers a...

We stayed for one night. If you have kids this hotel is great. There is a lot to do and a lot of restaurant choices. It's about an hour ride to Yosemite valley. Rooms are decent, downside is halls are noises do to kids running up and down at all hours. If you are looking for an adult get away...

This place is amazing in every way. Staff are so helpful and they know so much about the local area. One of our highlights was watching the movie from the swimming pool at night, under a clear and starry sky. When we booked in the U.K., we didn't get breakfast included and it was very expensive as an add on...

Visiting from the UK we did not know what to expect of Tenaya or Yosemite - both were fantastic. The lodge is great and the staff are the stars, every member of staff was first class. Incredibly friendly & helpful. Remember you are visiting a National Park and not Disney and you will have a great time - don't expect...

My wife and I booked a cottage in the Tenaya Lodge complex. On arrival we were told that we had booked a cottage with Queen bed. On the booking ref it clearly stated a King bed. The receptionist said she would upgrade us. Basically we were given a family room that consisted of one king and one Queen bed not...

Although we didn't spend much time at the Lodge as we were at Yosemite most of the time, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Well located near to Yosemite although an hours drive from the Valley, visitor centre etc.

Let's face it, here in the Sierra's you don't have too many options when you stay at the Tenaya. The management knows this and have over priced everything accordingly. When you check in, they let you know that you have to pay an additional resort fee of $20. I asked what that was for and the desk clerk said it...

My family stayed here for 3 nights before Easter. We booked a cottage and I think most if not all cottages have been renovated. At the cottages you will share the main entrance with 2 other families. There are two families on the bottom floor and one above. Each family will have a balcony or a (dirt) patio. We could...

We were a family of 5, three teenagers. We had a large double room with two double beds and they bought and additional single bed to the room for us, we still had space which was good. Lodge reception had a lounge feel to it with large fireplace etc, like a large cabin in the snow in the French Alps....

Amazing 3 night stay with our two boys, 10 and 8. Plenty to do for everyone in one of the most incredible locations in the world. One hour drive to Yosemite is the main attraction, which is stunning. Our guided tour was expensive, but worth it. The hotel had a nice, large, room, in-door swimming pool and hot tub, archery,...
