The Inn was very cute and served our purpose for nearby access to the breathtaking redwoods in Northern California. We were able to secure a room last minute, but we were rushed in checkin as the front desk was closing, rushed to the dining room as the kitchen was closing, all around 9pm, when the town seems to close. It's...

My wife and I passed through Ferndale reroute to our new home in Lucca Italy. This was the closing the circle tour, saying good bye to all our old favorite places on the west coast. We had a wonderful stay at the Victorian Inn in Ferndale California, The owner’s Lowell and Jenny are warm friendly people who make you feel...

We found The Victorian Inn off route 101 heading north. We were not looking for anything special on our road trip of California but managed to find this gem quite by accident and so glad we did. The quirky old fashioned hotel was different to the motel and other hotels on our journey and was a refreshing break. All rooms...

The staff at the Inn are very friendly and helpful. All the rooms are upstairs. There is a large sitting area with coffee and tea available. Also a refrigerator for the quests to use. We stayed in the Ellis room. It was a good size and the bathroom was very large. The only negative is that this room faced the...

We stayed here one night but wished we had a little more time to explore Ferndale. The staff is very helpful. There's no elevator to second floor rooms but they are willing to carry your bags up if you need help. We ate at the restaurant and the food was very good as well. Very big portions. Breakfast was a...

Lovely room, lovely service, lovely ambiance - we arrived after closing of reception, and the management made sure we had everything we needed. They even kept the bar open longer so that we could grab a night cap.

What a great place to visit. Really authentic small town feel with friendly locals and great businesses. Close to many other attractions like the ocean, redwood forests, mountains - it has it all! A great drive north of San Francisco with many scenic views and passing through many other more cosmopolitan cities before you reach the outskirts and arrive at...

How in the world can I compare this wonderful Victorian Inn to anywhere else we have stayed? I can't. There is no comparison to excellence! We have stayed at many resorts throughout the United States and although we have felt privileged in doing so, we have never felt the warmth and feeling of being treated "special" as we did here...

I found the Victorian Inn by chance while looking for a place to stay along the way our road trip from San Francisco to Seattle. The photos on their website looked really good but I thought that the actual place wouldn't be as nice. I was very wrong. It is better than the photos. We arrived at the Inn much...
