This is the place to stay, right outside the park entrance (Rte. 140, Arch Rock) when visiting Yosemite. Ron and Liz were extremely accommodating and nice. Their B & B is beautiful, clean and right on the Merced River !! Hummingbirds are abundant on the deck and Liz's breakfast is delicious. Wonderful way to meet other people from all over...

Fortuitously*, my husband booked two rooms at the Yosemite Blue Butterfly Inn (west entrance to Yosemite Valley) off Hwy 140, and we were absolutely delighted by the warmth, beauty, and comfort of this beautiful B&B. Nestled right on the Merced River, the vistas are breathtaking. The owners, Liz and Ron, are amazingly hospitable and having lived in the area for...

We stayed at Blue Butterfly for 3 nights in August 2016. What a wonderful place with the decks overlooking the Merced River. Ron and Liz are the most amazing people and we spent every evening sitting on the deck listening to their tales. The humming birds kept us entertained until sundown . If you are coming to Yosemite you have...

Blue butterfly Yosemite Absolutely fabulous breakfast just outside the entrance to the park. The room we've had was top of the building has a surrounding balcony, and a small kitchenette. The finishings in the room were perfect. We were greeted with tea and biscuits on arrival and spent time on the lower balcony watching the hummingbirds and ravens. Very entertaining....

We spent three nights recently with Liz and Ron at their superb B + B - having read some of the few negative comments posted by some prior to writing this, I think some people are hard to please. The hosts could not have been more friendly and we found the room and breakfasts to be excellent. We were happy...

The owners of the B and B make you feel like you are staying with family or friends. Ron and Liz are a great couple. The B and B is very close to the Arch Rock entrance to Yosemite. It is on the Merced river and has a wonderful deck right on the river. We ate breakfast in the main...

And it is! There is nothing to match Ron and Lizs hospitality in the park. From superbly appointed rooms with balcony decks overlooking the Creek to a home cooked breakfast, tea and cookies in the afternoon and free tour guide thrown in. Bring a bottle of wine or two, Ron and Liz don't mind, and spend a late afternoon on...

This B&B really is a hidden gem in Yosemite! We booked a two nights stay and we wished we'd of had more time in our trip to stay longer. Landing in Las Vegas we drove to the blue butterfly through Death Valley, luckily Tioga pass was open and it only took 10 hours. Which seems a long journey but the...

We recently did a one month visit to the USA including a 17 day roadtrip so we stayed at many hotels, B&B, cabins and motels during this time. Yosemite Blue Butterfly was by far the best place we stayed. When we booked we booked the only room available which as it turned out was the entire top floor of the...

We have just spent 4 nights with Ron and Liz and I wish it could have been 4 months! They welcomed us so warmly into the beautiful Blue Butterfly that we felt at home immediately. The house is immaculate and perfectly located for a visit to Yosemite. If you are a fan of art nouveau you will be delighted by...
