We planned a trip to Yosemite at the last minute and this was the closest place to stay near the park that was reasonable. However, when we booked the room the first time the price was $250 per night. We said we would "bite the bullet" and pay that. Our plans changed and we called to cancel the third night....

Given its remote location and its notorious history, I was amazed that our room had no security peephole in the door, we did not feel safe here. The room was was clean and comfortable, what they do here, they do well, but they do very little. The rooms are poorly equipped and having to get dressed and go to the...

The accommodation was fine for what we needed, it was clean and comfortable and we got a good couple of nights sleep which was what was required. We used the restaurant one night and the grill the other and both were fine. The portions were maybe smaller than in a lot of other US eating places but being Brits they...

Watch out for Rooms 144, 145, 146 they are located on top of the hotel laundry which was still running at 11.10pm. The air conditioners are like sleeping next to a jet engine running. Blankets were threadbare and the pillows old and lumpy. Hot tip, stay at Mariposa, the best tour company in Yosemite will pick you up from there...

We stayed three nights at the Cedar Lodge with another couple when lodging at Yosemite was unavailable. This might be best described as a motel in a retro mode. The suite consisted of a large room with a wall bed, sofa bed and kitchen, a separate room with two double beds and a bath with separate dressing area. Except for...

This Hotel is only 8 miles from Yosemite which is a real plus. We were really looking forward to going to YNP and we were'nt Disappointed. Ceder Lodge however had its good points and its bad points too. Considering how much they charge per room we were Horrified to discover that they only provide both polystyrene and plastic cups for...

The accommodation prices are in line with the general costs of the area and cheaper than most. I say that we chose the best location for the money we wanted to pay. 15 minutes from the park gates. The hotel was a bit dated but was clean and cool. Everything worked. The restuarant was very reasonably priced and of good...

I booked a junior suite, which was advertised for 6-8 people. There was enough room for all (4 adults) of us, but 2 chairs were no enough to have a nice dinner. After requesting 2 additional chairs, we got them very quickly. The kitchen equipment was very poor. Several essential things were missing and tools that were available were broken...

I was attending a training in Yosemite and found this property on Trip Advisor. My instructor recommended another property just outside the entrance to the park. I am glad I chose this property. It is smaller and quieter. Rooms are acceptable and the staff was very nice. The restaurant is OK but I did not care for the food in...

The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The bath rooms are large and has a big counter. The food in the restaurant is good. The store is open till 11pm. The only inconvenience is that there is no cell connectivity and the wifi is available only in the lobby on payment of $9/ per instrument.
