The rooms are clean, well maintained. Even though the lodge is far from the valley (18 miles) it is worth to consider for the price and facility. The only difference is there is no complimentary breakfast, the wifi is usually broken and you cannot get any network coverage here. Unless you cannot stay without network do not consider this place.

Had no cellular coverage, understandable given the location. Never had internet, although we were told daily "Working on it". Then one night had no water pressure. Second morning, I couldn't even shower due to sewage backing up into the bathtub. Left three days early. The location was great, but that's all.

we stayed here 1 night on our way before going to yosemite. Booked the room through expedia and not knowing what to expect. For a motel type of room it was ok, we had a suite and there was a lot of space. we went for the drink at the bar on the premises and even though it's outdated, we...

We stayed here as our overnight spot while away from Yosemite. Next time we will stay in the park. Front desk staff is woefully under trained. No one ever smiled or said welcome or offered any tips for the area. The room was dated, cheap, not even free pens or laundry bags. Old linen and musty smell they try to...

Hotel is located on the highway so ask for a room away from the road. Second advice which is a must is: ask for a top floor room don't stay on the ground floor because you can hear every single step your neighbors make. Wifi is 10$ a day and you can't share it with several terminals (quite poor). Location...

Drive up and park at the door to your room. Get up the next morning and drive just 15 minutes into Yosemite Valley. Don't plan to eat exquisite food here, it's basic bar food and burgers (albeit with a veg burger option). Do plan to take your time at concierge; this place is low-key. That said, the rooms are clean...

This property is located close to Arch Rock entrance to Yosemite National Park. A convenient place to spend the night. Accommodations are basic but complete. Bed was excellent. I downgraded this motel because of the totally inferior Internet service, which is provided by a contractor who charges separately. In this day and age, guests are entitled to expect decent WiFi.

Couples wkend getaway. After a long day of rainy hiking in YNP we decided to book at the Cedar Lodge BC of the rate. Pluses: about 30 min driving to YNP 140 main gate. Easy to book, reasonable rate for the area we paid under $100 off season, easy to find just off the 140 HWY, checkout 11am, on-site Bar...

You don't even notice driving up to the hotel untill it 'spawns' from the Yosemite forest. When you're there you get an authentic lodge feeling at the reception. Don't forget to check out the little trading post. The rooms are really nice, if you have a room on the upper floor opening up to the hills be sure to open...

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Yosemite. While the hotel is quite close to the park, it is extremely inconvenient for those who are without private transport. It is $5 per way into the park with the public busses running at either 7AM in the morning or 12PM with the 7AM bus arriving over an hour later at Yosemite,...
