They have a poor breakfast menu. Cold hard boiled eggs only. terrible coffee and people skills lacking staff. There's a sign that tells you are not allowed to take food out, which you can't see as you enter the kitchen area because it is located on the wall by the door entrance. So of course you can't see until you...

It is a small motel; my room was very clean, I had enough towels and since it was a hot day I was able to enjoy the pool as well. Breakfast was a big plus for me. I did not see any "shady" activity as described by other people, but keep in mind that you are going to El Cajon!...

Arrived very late after midnight to find the lobby door locked. Rang the bell to no avail! Called the manager on my cell phone and he let me in. Key cards didn't work. Had to be re-programmed several times. Lots of drunks and hookers in the neighborhood. Not the best of neighborhoods. Was glad to get back on the road...

This motel is next to the freeway and has a large parking lot. We arrived around midnight and the friendly clerk put us in a ground floor unit at our request - although he stated rooms in the other building were nicer. Opening the door to the room - there is a strong smell of deodorizer and something else, and...

THE WORST BEST WESTERN EVER. Rude staff. Wouldn't even let my 84 year old grandmother take a banana out of the breakfast room. Uncaring and ill mannered. General manager wasn't even available to complain. Prostitutes and lots of noise. Best Western needs to pull the crane his license yesterday!

Thank you Mr P. for the time you took to write this review; however, after checking the video footage for that day nothing matches the situation you are describing; as a matter of fact I see your "84 year old grandmother" talking to the Front Desk Manager, and your " 84 year old grandmother" apologized to her for your rude...

The water was hot and cold throughout the shower. Right next to the freeway. It was easy to find, but very noisy. My outside view was the on ramp to the...

The staff is friendly and helpful. The general appearance of the exterior of the motel is like all others in this category. No frills. Which is okay when you aren't looking for something other than a place to stay for business in the area. I stay at this location each time because shopping is close and so is by location...
