We did not stay in this resort but we scheduled massages in the facility which also gave us the option of using the facility and the pools for the day. Big big mistake. It is run down, dirty, disorganized, smells food, and that day they had a loud band playing by the pool. The massage was in a humidity smelling...

The promise of 5 pools won us over when it came to choosing accommodation around Palm Springs and they certainly are this motel’s best feature. Its only feature in fact. The rooms are very dated and the noise from the shower (if you can get it to work) beggars belief. And then there’s the aircon. Sorry? I COULDN’T HEAR YOU...

The entire facility is run down, looks like things haven't been updated since the 50's. We stayed on a Friday night and paid $180 for a king room. I was expecting a much better kept room for the price. The carpet was bubbling up, there were stains all over the furniture, the bathroom was well worn. Wooden fixtures were cracked...

The room was large. King size bed plus couch on the other side of the room. There is refrigerator, coffee maker which we did use and a microwave which we didn't. Very handy to keep snacks and drinks. The pools are great. There's a computer in the lobby and wifi (at the pool area as well ) Pool towels were...

I've stayed here before, but this visit was awful. I had suggested Desert Hot Springs Spa Hotel and had to apologize to my colleagues for how bad the stay was. We did not have enough towels, and the attendant offered towels from the 'dirty' bin or suggested we wait till morning. The blankets on the beds were inadequate, especially since...

Let me start with the positives. It was nice to stay outside of glitzy Palm Springs, but still close enough to major attractions to make day trips like the Tramway and Zoo. Staff were helpful and courteous. Our room was spacious with lots of lights and mirrors. beds were very comfortable. Concept of rooms surrounding a courtyard of pools is...

We enjoyed our time at the Desert Hot Springs Spa Hotel. It is an older hotel, built in the 40s, and has character and warmth and great staff. There are several pools and you can choose to swim in a lap pool with cooler water, or soak in hot water in a smaller pool.

My first visit to the spa hotel started out good. The pools were not too crowded, and a few were heated to a perfect temperature that felt very relaxing. My companion and I liked the retro 60's atmosphere and the positive vibe from other guests. The visit ended with disappointment when I discovered human solid waste in the shower. When...
