The promise of a relaxing desert R&R quickly turns to very unpleasant encounters of neglect and carelessness - when mishaps are brought to staff's attention you will hit a wall of truly lame excuses. No one at the spa picks up the phone to book your treatments. If you try to reach the front desk to find out what going...

This place reminds me of a nice resort in Mexico. That is, nature and quiet are the focus here, while the rooms are adequate but very dated. I will say the bed was comfy and the room clean. The restaurant is remodeled, great view, breakfast was tasty and fresh. The grounds are tranquil, the focus is on quiet and meditation....

We appreciate that you were able to recognize the essence of our property. Please be advised that as in all booking engines (expedia, travel zoo etc), only a certain number of rooms are held at that rate (which is why it is discounted) hence you were not able to avail of that rate.

We had a great stay at the resort....but would probably not return. The highlights were the restaurant which had AMAZING food! and the grotto. The grotto was beautiful, but a lots of cups left on sides by guests, and chipped paint around edge. The room was nothing special. The duvets had thread pulls on them, and we never recieved room...

My sister and I spent just two nights at Two Bunch Palms and feel unbelievably relaxed and refreshed. We took a water therapy class (Aqua Soma) and it was like being back in the womb. Wonderful for the spine and the spirit! Then, after a mud bath, I felt like all the toxins in the world were released and not...

It is so nice to hear that you enjoyed the aqua soma and really allowed your body to respond to the mud therapy and the experience of soaking. We hope you will always remember to recharge and choose to do it with us every single time.

Just outstanding Resort & Spa! Beautiful 77 acre grounds with well appointed rooms and excellent spa facilities. The restaurant, Essence, had amazing food and my wife loved the Mud Bath with Arnica Wrap. We both enjoyed the 104 degree mineral pool at the Grotto which is open all night! The other incredible thing about our stay were the free classes...

And did you hear that we are closing for 6 weeks to add more improvements to the property? Hope to see you soon after that!

My 87 year old mother was coming to visit. We are fairly local to this place and I heard good things so I thought a one-day two-night stay here would be special for her. The checking in process was fine and we were immediately sent to the spa to get our robes which I thought was a very nice touch....

Since you visited, we have refreshed the spa ambience with lighter more mid century decor and have addressed the service issues you mentioned. However please be advised that the resort fee which most resorts charge is mostly for the 55 classes weekly that are complimentary to our guests. We will be closing for 6 weeks to enhance the vintage/grotto area...

Two Bunch Palms is a wellness resort and that is exactly how we felt after our visit, well! Definitely better than when we arrived. The restaurant serves wholesome fresh food in portions that won't overwhelm you, the mattress in our room was incredibly comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating, the grounds are magical, and the grotto is restorative. The mineral waters and yoga ambiance draw a diverse crowd mostly older. Great grotto with hot mineral water and pool with large years and plenty of towels. Ying and Yang. A quiet and peaceful 1950’s throwback spa experience with a few issues. You can’t beat the tranquility of the large clean grounds and the uber yoga spirit. Our cottage had...

Relaxing retreat with my daughter this month at Two Bunch Palms! I've been going to Two Bunch since the 80's with family and friends and hadn't been back in more than 10 years! It is still enchanting, a little tattered around the edges, but beautiful and unique nonetheless! Our room was in the south end away from the grotto with...

I've been coming to TBP for over 25 years. I've seen a lot of changes. All of them for the good. The alchemy of this place is pure magic. Yes, the prices have risen. So has the quality. For those naysayers, you have to remember it's not Santa Monica. Alejandra, table staff has been here 22 years. Need I say...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Marking 75 years in 2015, Two Bunch Palms has much to celebrate. Last year's incredible renovation of the 270-acre property resulted in 70 'soulful' new room accommodations, a farm-to-table restaurant Essense, passive solar earth mound yoga dome and a new View Point conference center and meeting facility with views of the valley against the San Jacinto Mountains. This physical transformation, including the addition of a 3.5-Acre solar field, puts Two Bunch Palms on the destination spa map as the first "Sustainable Wellness Resort" in North America and the first carbon-neutral resort. A legacy that spans several generations of guests-from notorious gangsters to Hollywood elite to romantic spa seekers-the property and its newest incarnation brings a rich and storied history full circle. This adult-only sanctuary (guests must be 18 or older) invites you to explore the four pillars of the resort: waters, spa, movement and cuisine. Their renowned, natural lithium-infused spring grotto features two mineral water pools carefully kept at a consistent temperature to ensure therapeutic and mood-enhancing properties. Guests are encouraged to "take to the 600-year old waters" and connect body with spirit before enjoying the spa well-known for its intuitive healers and authentic treatments. The new Essense restaurant features healthier gourmet dining prepared by a Le-Cordon Bleu trained chef with the help of a PHD nutritionist. With a nourished body, guests may partake in more than 35 wellness activities, such as meditation, art classes, tai chi, qigong and yoga in the beautiful new dome. ... more   less
