I have never been treated so rudely as I was at this Inn. The lady at check in was so rude we left and spent the night down the street. I wish I owned and ran this place because its in a great location and could be really nice. Its run down. What a shame.

This is not your average hotel. This is where you go if you want to feel like you are at home. The location is great and the two people that are staffed are genuine and you don't find that everywhere. As soon as we got there, they offered to hold our luggage (we got there way to early to check-in)....

Excellent location next to the 9th street 101 bus stop. Parking if you have a car. Close to restaurants. About 20 of them within a half mile. Lots of little shops. Just a couple of short blocks to the hiking path above the ocean. The room was quiet. They held our luggage since we got there in the morning for...

When we checked in the owner was very friendly. She walked us to the room and opened the door, I believe, to experience our reaction. The room was so charming and we just ooh'd and ahh'd! We had room 11 and it has a vaulted ceiling w/exposed beams, a little window above the desk, and a curved black shower with...

My husband stayed here recently while in town for the weekend. We can't wait to come back. We had the Gaugin room and really loved it. Each room is unique, a different type of masterpiece and feel like they were designed and assembled by an incredibly creative team. The space had plenty of room and was well designed. The bed...

Loved this adorable little hotel. We had an upstairs room with a view of the ocean. My fiancé and I are still talking about the hotel and the AMAZINGLY comfortable bed! It was like sleeping on a cloud....seriously. The people in the front were so nice and accommodating even letting us check out late without charging us. The location was...

This 12 room non-chain hotel is a faded beauty. You can see that each room, named for a celebrity of some sort (ours was the O'Keefe Room) is unique and was done with particular care, from the tile to the painted walls, and the art work. At this stage, however, it is a bit run down and in need of...

If you want to be in a comfortable hotel with charm - something different that you haven't experienced before - this is the place. The hostess is lovely and helpful. There are a few restaurants within the block, and a number more just a walk down the street in the main Del Mar area, as well as the beach. If...

Have your own patio. Plus common area with outdoor fireplace. They make you coffee in the morning and have a shared food fridge. Very comfy. Unique adobe decor. Draw back is no ocean view, but price makes up for that. Very walkable to Del Mar central and beach. Very drivable to biotech and tech hubs of Torrey Pines and UTC.

You will want to tour the rooms if you can- Each has a theme - Yes you guessed it. Aritst theme. I can say that you will not be disappointed in this location. Very eccentric and very quiet. There are several rooms decorated loosely to evoke artistic themes, a few with glimpses of an ocean view.”
