Hotel's Favourite
We love staying at the Palihotel Culver City. Culver City itself is walkable -- an exception within LA -- with many restaurants and a farmers market at hand. The hotel has its own restaurant, the Simonette, that has a lovely atmosphere, and we've met friends and family there for drinks or a meal. As a PaliSociety property, the hotel is run at the same high standards as their other locations. Some of the rooms are rather compact, so make sure that it will suit your needs; given the high quality of everything we are always happy to stay.

We stayed here as we needed a place away from home due to flooding. We transferred from their sister property in Silverlake and they accommodated us on very short notice. The location is fantastic - right around the corner from the heart of downtown Culver City and great restaurant/entertainment options. Ultimately the rooms were too small for what we needed as we weren’t traveling light. Morgan (the hotel manager) was wonderful and did everything possible to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Really wonderful stay at Palihotel in Culver! They have a very cool open air restaurant and bar. And the staff was really helpful, especially Faith at the concierge desk who took great care of us. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

A sweet boutique hotel with perfect location for work and restaurants+farmers market. Just have to request a quiet room. And the courtyard rooms are great for letting fresh air inside. Friendly, helpful and informed front desk staff.

Room walls are thin. Conversations did carry from the room below/beside or noise from anyone walking down the hallway. Thermostat was not working and it was a chilly rainy day. Received extra blankets as requested but was told a small space heater would been provided but didn't arrive. Hotel location is ideal off a main street, right next door to shopping/restaurants.

New, hip and trendy, the Palihotel is basically a youth hostel for adults. The staff are nice and friendly, the restaurant is cute. However, the rooms are TINY with no thought or consideration for anything other than laying your head. I had a Garden View King and there was no place to put my suitcase (I could have put it in the closet but there are no drawers or tables to put the contents of a suitcase). There is no desk for work, unless you count the 2ft wide built-in desk - and then you'd have to move the phone, the coffee maker, the 2 coffee cups and the lamp. The internet is WEAK and you have to re-sign in every few minutes. This place is just not a serious hotel.

Faith was a perfect help at the front desk. Another lovely stay thanks to the Pali Hotel. Breakfast and cappuccino are always a highlight. The bed was extremely comfortable and the location is ideal for a night stroll.

Morgan and all of the staff were very friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is very upbeat and pleasant. Had breakfast and lunch at the hotel several times, the food was great. Service at the bar was awesome. When I ordered room service both times, it was a fast delivery and presented well. There is also a hub of activity within easy walking distance, lots of places to eat, and boutique type shops. If I am in the area again for business, I will be staying there again. The only less than excellent parts were the parking, and the room costs, but then again it's the LA area, so it's to be expected.

Great nice staff. Hotel smelled musty or same smell as veterinarian - perhaps to cover smell of pets. all HVAC is controlled by front desk - not individually in each room. desk tiny. phone wired to wall with no stretch so can't be in bed and use phone. Lights turn on and off randomly. Restaurant great - won't stay there again but may go to restaurant.
