The area around the hotel is awesome....just beautiful. You can go for a walk and dive into another world. It is really the best I ever had. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is also very very good. Overall this hotel is a recommendation! However, the building has its age and so it is partly worn out or...

I stayed here on a work trip. This hotel is a historic hotel from the 1800s. It is an experience to stay here. The hotel has free access to an incredible spa, with a variety of salts and creams for you to use on yourself. The rooms are classical, yet comfortable and spacious. The restaurant is top notch, and the...

Visited the hotel for a wedding closed by and did not use the spa in the hotel. The hotel is in a nice area with a nice view from restaurant, room standard is a bit too low to give higher than average. The television picture was really bad even if we were not there to watch TV it was not...

The location of this hotel is quite stunning. Goregous area to go for a walk or cycle or even down to enjoy the water. The "beach" is a small sliver of sand but it's a beach nonetheless. Clearly an old hotel in style and decor, the service was good and polite. The rooms were a bit small and found the...

2nd time staying here. pros: * friendly and laid back * very comfy beds * warm indoor pool that leads through some sort of a tunnel to - I kid you not - an outdoor pool with an oyster shell roof that opens with motion sensors. it's hard to explain. you've just got to see it to believe it. *...

Oddly hotel in the best location. The hotel is very kitsch furnishings, lots of chandeliers and strange decor. The room was ok, but the beds too soft. We had a sea view. The spa was scratchy and the pool looked very limp out. The food in the buffet was so-so and the breakfast good but the environment messy with too...

Where do I begin...the best thing about this hotel is the setting, hands down it can't be beat. The rooms are just okay. We had a mini suite with a nice view of the Sea. The room needs refurbishing but it was clean and well appointed. The bathroom looked to have been recently remodeled and it included a big soaking...

Lovely location looking over the bay. Room was a bit dark as it was to the rear of the hotel looking into a wood. We opted for the set menu for the evening meal in the restaurant. The waiter was very attentive. Food was delicious (but rather expensive - about £50 per head). The lamb was cooked just right and...

This hotel, in such a stunning location, has been sadly mismanaged and neglected for decades. The beds are old and uncomfortable, the bathrooms renovated in the cheapest way possible with no care or attention to the actual needs of the traveler. The carpets are damp underfoot. It's a great shame.

Impressive lobby, beautiful bar, nice garden and great breakfast. That is the only positive thing about this hotel. I did not use the spa or the swimming pool so no comment on these two facilities. I had a single room on the top floor. No drawers or place to put my cloths, just a very little hanger (on one side...
