Standard quality concerning most fascilities. The food I had was absolutely OK and fresh, but I feel sorry for the vegetarians. Those dishes were unfortunably poor! The staff on duty did their best, but the amount of them - especially during our dinner could have been a few moor. Clean and tidy rooms.
Spent our second night on the way to North Cape here. Really nice place. Big, clean and comfortable rooms. Quite place, indeed. We came in about 15 minutes before the kitchen closed, but got really nice service and one of the best tasting wienerschnitzels, I have had for a long time after a long day on the road. Absolute quality hotel.
Terrible place! Beware. For this VERY low standard of the whole building, rooms, everything, the prices are overcharged. We were prepared after the first night to "upgrade" to a hotelroom, but the prices where too high (especially in a small town like this. Almost higher than in the capital, where we live. Should not be...) The worst was especially one other guest, that overused alcohol and was nasty to other guests and made our children and myself as a women feel very uncomfortable. Some of our relatives that came to pick us up one morning, noticed this as well.. Seems like no cleaning were done in the place at all. Only the kitchen and toilet bins seemed to to emptied. The building seemed to fall apart, everywhere. The guy that fixed small errors and small jobs was overloaded with our complaints. But the place seemed to run down to fix with small jobs. Behind the building were old metal junk, that should be removed. And the trees behind and all the greens should be fixed also. It would improve a lot if some nice plants and flowers were put out in the front space, with the very boring parking place. A place "God has forgotten" so to speak. Have emailed the hotel, will see how they reply to our views...…
This hotel is a typical Swedish hotel, with two single beds placed side by side for their version of a double bed. Rooms are clean, tidy, and quiet. Great food, friendly staff, reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
A one night stop over, this hotel was average at best. Expensive to get a double room, poor facilities (ripped sheets, thin towels, dirty bedside tables), no toiletries provided, nor a hairdryer which considering the outside temp was -5 would be helpful- you get all of this for 1550kr. Last resort only, stay at towns before or after. Food basic but edible.
Comfortable, convenient night on the road returning from the Arctic Circle. The other guests looked like hunters, I think that's what the clientelle are mainly there for. That and hydro electric power, according to lonely planet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cheaper meals (burger and game stew) were about £12 each, and came with serve yourself salad as a starter. 50cl draft Mariestad was £5. The game stew was rubbery flakes of meat in a tasty sauce.
We had 1 night here in late August. A family of 5, we were allocated 1 room with double bed, sofa bed for 2 and folder bed for 1 so was nice and cosy in the room with not much room. Small bathroom with shower that sprayed water everywhere! Which left you with wet bathroom floor. Room was clean. We had room facing the road and there was minimal noise. We ate with a large group and meal was nice for a buffet. Staff continually topped it up to ensure people got food and were not left with minimal choices. Bar service was very slow - only one staff member serving and restaurant was very busy. We ended up getting 2-3 drinks everytime we went up as you waited so long to get to front of the line. Breakfast was basic continental plus boiled eggs. Fairly simple. I would stay again if I was passing through. Check in was slow, again only one staff member trying to serve large number of people checking in at once. Free parking and wifi.…
I just drove trough and needed a place to sleep. so I`m basing my review upon that. Arrived late at night, and the check in was fast. and the girl behind the disk was very helpful, and very experienced. The room I got was 2 single beds and a bathroom, very simple. but I didn`t need anything else. Very comfortable bed. Maybe a bit to expensive, considering what you get. But no complaints from me. Great place. But not much to offer.
A hotel in swedish lapland, I stayed in this hotel for a few nights when i was on a business trip. The hotel looks okay from the outside but inside its 80s style and needs a refreshing. The rooms are old and not really clean. Breakfast is okay but dinner i will advice to go eating in town. The hotel i good located if you like nature and fishing. Some of the staff was not really helpful and if you come after 21.00 in the evening there is no reception or call help.
