I stayed at the EL Rancho Motel at the end of January. The bungalows are charming, without a lot of high and amenities. The location is fantastic. You are given a coupon for a continental breakfast at a restaurant a few blocks down the street. Irene, the manager is one of the most delightful and customer friendly people I have...

For the price, this little motel was a pretty solid choice. It was extremely quiet (no office staff even) and perfectly clean. But literally the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. It's a mile from the Hotel Del and beach and maybe a quarter mile to the ferry landing. Overall, pretty good. But man, that bed made it hard...

Located in an expensive community, the El Rancho Motel is a moderately-priced beach resort located at Orange and Fourth in Coronado. The rooms are clean and contain all the basics, including cable TV, a coffee maker, a small refrigerator, a microwave, and a hair blower, along with comfortable chairs. While there are just 11 rooms, the intimate setting - including...

The host was very friendly and the room we stayed in had a kitchen. The room was clean and very quiet. The location was also great with walking distance to several restaurants and 20 minutes walk to the beach. Free parking.

Perfect motel with a great price. It has all the amenities needed and it is just perfect for travelers. Very enjoyable experience. El Rancho is also very beautiful and very well decorated. Definitely my go to spot in Coronado.

I travel to San Diego twice a month, and I must say El Rancho Motel is an affordable hassle-free alternative to the expensive hotels downtown. The rooms are newly remodeled and are fully equipped with all the amenities necessary (coffee machine and beach towels!) to feel at home. Also, there are a few pharmacies/shops/restaurants at walking distance, which makes everything...

It's a cute little motel on Coronado island. Bed is comfortable and everything is clean. We only stayed one night but i can see it being a great island retreat. Fun things to do within walking distance.

It is located right off the main street and close to lots of restaurant, shops, bar. It is a couple of blocks from the ferry landing and close to the bridge. I enjoyed sitting in the front outdoor space and the table in the back. Parking was a little limited but then we discovered there were two spots in the...

My girlfriend and I were meeting other friends but we arrived a day early and I looked all around SD for her and I to stay in hostels for that one night. I booked us at the El Rancho and we were delighted with the clean rooms, comfy beds and pillows....just a great find! We walked to the bay that...

I can't speak highly enough of this gem of a motel. The arrangement of the rooms resemble white English cottages. Grass and rose bushes run down the middle of the row of rooms. Service is fantastic. Accommodations made without a fuss. Nice little touches like suntan lotion available.Charming garden accessories. Hardwood firs. Mini-kitchen.You can walk to everything: Vons, movie theaters,...
