When people heard I was going to San Diego everyone told me you have to tour Hotel Del Coronado. Got there, looked for main entrance. Key card accessible only but 2 employees let me in. Only to find a courtyard with the Easter bunny. No main lobby desk. Went out asked another employee how to find the front desk. Go...

My room in the main building wasn't anything special but you could certainly upgrade. The bed was fantastically comfortable. The hotel conveniently met requests via text, such as for shampoo & late checkout! They also sent texts about things going on at the hotel. Beautiful place. Lots to do & plenty of history. Would definitely go back if I could....

The Ocean Towers view was lovely once we were switched rooms to actually see it. Our reservation was a view of the parking lot and then decided to upgrade for a $100 nightly cost and was unfortunately given a room with a view of the pool building roof room near the pool. No - unacceptable. Took some time and some...

My wife had stayed here for work many years ago and always raved about it so this time we were in San Diego we decided that we would stay here. It is very expensive, know that up front. It is very historic, the lobby is like something out of the 40's or 50's because it is. Many movie stars have...

This is simply one of the coolest hotels I have ever stayed at, and I have stayed at a lot! It is steeped in history and you feel it everywhere. There are so many different areas, all beautiful and unique, the hallways are the widest you will ever see and rooms are all different layouts. The staff is gracious, the...

The Hotel Del has a phenomenal location right on a beautiful beach and is an easy drive to attractions. It was fantastic to wake up to the see and hear the ocean but the room itself was a bit tired. Anyone planning to stay at the Del should know that its the kind of hotel that nickel and dimes is...

We stayed one night as a special thing for my birthday. We stayed in the old, historic hotel. At check in, the very nice clerk advised they upgraded us from a queen room to a king. She checked my ID and wished me a happy birthday! The room was very nice. Large and clean and a partial view of the...

We stayed in one of the rooms in the Beach Village and it was wonderful. The staff was friendly and very attentive and food was good. We were able to listen to the surf at night and mornings were spent drinking coffee on the porch. We had amazing massages and enjoyed relaxing in the spa. They have a shopping area...

Although we did not stay at The Del. We spent a day visiting this spot. We drove the Coronado Bridge to go over to The Del. San Diego is one beautiful place. You know that for sure when crossing this bridge. And The Del Coronado Hotel is why we traveled the 7.2 miles from Old Town. The Hotel itself is...
