My family stayed at the Saddle Creek Resort while we were attending a wedding. This place turned out to be an unexpected surprise. The golf resort has several small bungalows that it rents. We stayed in one near the main building and it was quite nice. The units do show a little wear but overall, they are very nice units.... More

This was my second trip to Saddle Creek for a golf vacation with couples and friends. The resort offers excellent lodging in small bungalows. Each bungalow can accommodate two couples. It contains two bedrooms. One is a master bedroom with private bath, coffee maker and a small refrigerator. On the opposite end is another bedroom. It's bath is down the... More

The Saddle Creek experience is always excellent! The reservation process is quick & efficient thanks to a well-seasoned and professional staff. The "bungalows" are of predictably quality, comfort and privacy. They are all furnished for a lengthy stay if desired with all comforts considered. We have stayed here perhaps a dozen times and always enjoyed the setting, the friendly staff... More

3 friends and I just returned from Saddlecreek. We stayed 2 nights which included 2 rounds of golf, breakfast 1 day, range balls, cart and lodging. The package includes 1 night lodging but we added another so we could fit a round in at Greenhorn Creek in Angels Camp. The accommodations were good, the service good, the food good but... More

Recently stayed in the lovely accommodations. Beautiful setting. The golf course is a fun short course but not very accommodating to Golfers. Some of the food very good but other just fair. Fall is a beautiful time here.

I was invited to stay at the Saddle Creek resort for a business function where I was giving a talk. I must admit the 2 nights cost me nothing and do not know what it would have. The drive from SFO was just under 2 hours I stayed in a beautiful stand alone cottage overlooking the golf course. It had... More

I visited the lodge restuarant some years ago and I believe a guy called Azzo was manager. The experience, food, service and value was excellent. I visited the the lodge restuarant again last week. What a joke. I waited 10 minutes to be seated. I waited another 15 minutes to be asked what I was ordering. I ordered, and it... More

Went down with another couple for a nice weekend getaway. Enjoyed the facilities and grounds. The bungalos are nice and well appointed and we couldn't beat the price ($485 for 2 including 4 meals and 4 rounds of golf) The service was a little disappointing in the bar as it seemed we were treated a bit like outsiders by the... 8 of us spent the New Year's at this resort and had a great time. The "bungalow package" included the New Year's Eve party, lodging in two 2 bedroom bungalows, and a wonderful breakfast in the restaurant. The bungalows were very comfortable and nicely appointed. Each unit had 2 nice bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Ours was very close to the... More

This is a great resort to stay at when golfing and touring the gold country. The service is first class, the food at the restuarant is above average and the rooms are very nice. I agree with someone that said if they had a jacuzzi tub instead of just a plain shower/tub combo this would be rated 5 stars. If... More
