Great place but the ghosts set it on fire again, will it be reincarnated a fourth time? It had a great bar and music, never stayed so can't say anything about what the rooms were like. I hope they rebuild this Sierra foothills classic.

Coloma is one of those super magic places where you find some of the more interesting people in the world. Im not usually a big fan of the hippy culture, butt I fell in love here. Their is a deep kindness to the people around here. Everyone has been so kind to us. All the food and the people have...

I've been to Sierra Nevada House on a few occasions, and what always brings me back, is the central location of this quaint little hotel. As a avid photographer, and a paranormal investigator, you have access to it all. With a state park right around the corner, you have lots of back drops for many interesting props for your pictures....

I stayed here after a day of rafting and was so disappointed with the room. It was not only very outdated but, also pretty dirty. There were stains on the carpets, the wallpaper was filthy and there wasn't even a television or phone in the room. I will say that the food at the restaurant was very good, and thankfully...

We stayed here after our white water rafting adventure. If you are looking for a fancy hotel this isn't it, your reservation confirmation is the persons name whom you book the room with via phone. We stayed here after we called several hotels in the area and were all booked or required a two night stay. You check in at...

In for a wedding. First off after seeing we are locked in to a two week cancelation policy... We arrive at midnight. The woman is put out that we arrived late even though we called at 4pm to say we were delayed. We get our room. #5 it's around the back in the pitch black. Hazard hazard hazard. Open the...

We stayed here the night before we went white water rafting. We walked into the bar to check into our room and the gal checking us in was very friendly and professional. It is an old historic hotel. The beds were comfortable. The air-conditioner was a bit loud, but we just opened our windows to let the cool night air...

We stayed here overnight while on a white water rafting expedition. Every hotel on the list we were given was booked full, but this one had vacancy and was only $89 per night. I would agree with the other reviewers that the bar was laid back, food was good, and the service was friendly. Then we got to our room...yikes...

Staff very friendly, quick check in. Stayed in #4 the Bridal Suite, nicely decorated, up to date where it needs to be. Room decorations go with the period of the hotel. Bed & pillows comfortable. Big room. Food excellent. A must if you are in Coloma.
