Our journey to this beautiful resort began being picked up from Apia Faleolo International Airport and greeted with refreshing cool face towel and cold water by a wonderful Samoan "high chief" called 'Captain''. Within a 1-hour travel to the resort you will be entertained by 'Captain' with very interesting history of Upolu Island and Samoans life. Thank you to amazing... More

From airport arrival I found a taste of the wonderful people that really gave this gorgeous resort an edge . Met by the delightful Pati and transferred, was treated to wonderful local knowledge & entertainment from this man. The resort is on the other side of the Island from Apia, but this is of no concern as it offers full... More

We stayed here for 10 nights and after visiting a few of the other resorts were pleased we chose Saletoga Sands. We had a spacious beach front villa with free breakfast daily. Lots of fresh fruit, cereals and also lots of fresh cakes and pastries at breakfast, which my partner loved, but seemed wrong time of day for me. The... More

Salatoga Sands was a lovely relaxing place to end our holiday. Our kids loved spending the beginning and the end of each day swimming in the gorgeous pool. Having mocktails sitting in the water at the pool bar fulfilled an item on my bucket list!! Complimentary foot massage vouchers on arrival were divine!! Our room was lovely and I loved... More

We spent 8 nights here and could have easily spent another 8. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Staff and owners, Gavin and Lou, made us feel very welcome. We arrived very early in the morning expecting a long wait for our rooms, but rooms were ready and after being shown the ropes and dropping off our luggage we headed to the... More
