My family (mom, 2 year old son, & 6 month old daughter) just stayed here Sat Aug 22 through today. They had a microwave, refrigerator, & a separate area with a couch that has a hideaway bed. Seemed like a nice hotel until we unpacked our things & realized the hideaway bed was broken. I should have gotten a hint...

This is a terrible hotel - it is old, run down and not maintained. The room was so disappointing - it had paint peeling off the walls in the bathroom and drywall crumbling, and the bathtub had a coating which was peeling off (maybe a non-slip surface). The entry door looked like it had been kicked in, and a crappy...

I recently stayed at this Best Western property. I stayed here with my wife and kids. Check in was a breeze. We used the pool, wifi and had the breakfast. No complaints. Check out was also a breeze. Josephine had great customer service. I will be coming back real soon. Thank you

I hate to write a bad review because this has been my go to hotel when I'm in San Diego and I've stayed here quite a few times over the years. It's always been clean and comfortable and a place I would recommend but this last stay was not pleasant at all. When we got there, the room seemed clean...

Decent Hotel; Good value; pool and breakfast are good. Recommend to stay there. Not far to food and transportation to downtown SD. My friend and I both had a good experience there during our stay during Comic Con time.

Paid $161 for the night and was beyond disappointed. Firstly, lets face it - Best Western isn't a 5 star Chain, but is should be clean and basic. When we walked in the carpet was stained, it looked like a crime scene, needless to say, we kept our shoes on the entire time. I had to explain to my 2...

TVs didn't work in first two rooms, but we've had this happen at higher end hotels. Josephina at the desk worked hard to find us the perfect room. She finally upgraded us at no charge and said it was her job to make us happy. She's a keeper. Other staff members were also friendly.

This Best Western isn't bad if you keep your expectations low. For the price, it's not too bad. Pros: It is close to the highway I-5. Rooms are clean, and have enough space for the family. There are many restaurants (fast food or ethnic) close by, as well as a mall. The staff seemed friendly. And, price, of course. Cons:...

The hotel was convenient to the sights we wanted to see. The lady at the motel desk was very helpful. The room itself was very large. The bathroom had a funky smell and could use some repair and updating. The area itself was lacking in restaurants and rather sketchy. Overall, it was a decent value for the area.

This hotel was the best value we could find in the San Diego area for a family of five. We appreciated the elevator up to the third floor. We had two queen beds and a pull-out bed, so it was a lot more comfortable than moving two beds against the wall and putting an air mattress in the middle. They...
