I don't think so. Cabins or small modular homes nestled in a grove of lovely trees across the road from the Lake. You need to drive to find public Lake access. The Chalet is cozy and in definite need of care and repairs. The towels and sheets were clean.

A beautiful place to stay with incredible scenic, lake views and cozy cabins! Wonderful place for adults and kids too. A great family vacation with lots of activities and amenities. It truly is "Home away from Home." Would recommend to all my friends and family to stay here.

Big Springs Resort is run by Cherie(the manager) who was just a gem to work with during our stay at Lake Almanor. We rented a small cabin which gave us access to a boat dock, kayaks and fishing just across the road. It was such a joy to have our morning coffee and late night glass of wine while sitting...

Lou, the manager, made us feel right at home. The cabin was wonderful! Very clean. We had the cabin with a small front porch and enjoyed the view of the lake while drinking our coffee. The cabin was well stocked with kitchen items, the linens and blankets were cozy and we were very comfortable. We plan on coming back here...

My husband and I just spent our anniversary weekend here staying in a studio cabin, which was clean and had everything we needed. The owner/manager was nice and helpful. He also accommodated us with parking our two jet skis. We had a very pleasant time there and look forward to visiting again.

This was our first time to Big Springs Resort and we had a wonderful time. Lou, the manager, was exceptional - extremely friendly and helpful from start to finish. Our cabin was on the rustic side, but very clean and comfortable. Our family members stayed in another cabin, which was perfect for them. It had a great view of the...

This was the second time I've stayed at this location in the same cozy little cabin. Big Springs is great as it can accommodate just about any family size. My boyfriend and I stayed in a studio cabin with a front porch that has a pretty good view of the lake. The cabin has a bunk bed with a full...

We just returned from a 4 nite stay at this cute little park with our travel trailer. It is not one of those giant asphalt parks - I believe there are about 8 RV sites and several cabins available for rent - again not a huge place, which we appreciate. This place was clean and well managed - internet connection...

The staff of Big Springs Resort were open minded and courteous and expectations were clear because no assumptions were made by us. We asked lots of questions to be sure we understood what was being offered and also to be sure our own unique needs would not be an inappropriate burden We stumbled upon Big Springs Resort not as a...

“Grocery store is a few miles away. No immediate lake entry - must drive to launch kayaks.”

“Ask questions and be clear about your needs. Also be open minded, this is more akin to camping than an all inclusive "resort". And most importantly, HAVE FUN!”

“We looked in some of the cabins and some of them were small but looked confretable still. Look at the pictures in there ad and the cheepest isn't always the biggest. Also, don't forget it's a cabin and your still kinda camping. Go have fun and the lake view from most all the cabins are nice.”

“Stay away from that studio apartment. If you can, view a room before you rent - we paid way too much!”
