Great location and excellent service. The room was clean but very outdated. The sheets were clean but were quite old and stained. Not a big deal but likely should be replaced. The staff member was excellent and recommended a great little restaurant a couple doors down for dinner and breakfast. The town is super cute and this is the only...

This is not a luxury hotel but certainly adequate! It's quiet and clean. The people are very friendly and helpful and the café a couple doors away has the best rye bread I've ever had. Meal prices were good and portions were large. The scenery in that part of the state was spectacular!! We would definitely stay there again!

Asked for direction at the gas station where the motel was. We were looking for another recommended motel and couldn't find it. Employee directed us to JnR. It was late and we were very tired and dirty so we stayed. It's a very old building with bare bones services. Most important missing was air conditioning. Staff was friendly. She even...

We visit this town every year and for the past 10+ years we've stayed at the JnR. Although the hotel is now owned by someone else the rooms are clean and comfy. Doors and walls are thin but the other guests are mindful of that fact so it's never been a problem. Great outdoor space and furniture to sit and...

The JnR is the only place to stay in Cedarville. This is an older hotel. It's clean and quiet and the manager Deana is friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfortable; the shower hot and the linens/ towels fresh. Deana had coffee on for the guests bright and early. The Station, a first rate coffee house is just down the...

We liked the central location near restaurants on the main street. The rooms are from an earlier time with squeeky floors, noisy plumbing, and little sound insulation from doors and adjacent rooms. The older TV was located near the ceiling so you had to crane your neck to see it. The fire alarm went off at 5:30 am, apparently due...

Thanks for the review. There is parking in the rear too. Smoke alarms are always a problem, but need for safety. desk needs some training on how to turn it off if it is not an emergency. I'll take care of it.

Small rooms, but quiet with nice folks at the front counter! Very easy to walk everywhere from here. The room was small and very clean. If you want to sit out on the wide veranda there is plenty of room to spread out. On the east side of the hotel it would be quieter but then you would also have...

There aren't a lot of options in Cedarville, but if you're looking for a clean room for a good value, the JnR hotel is an excellent choice. The gentleman who worked the front desk was extremely kind, even at 3 AM in the morning (my trip was delayed). He was even kind enough to delay my check-out time by an...

It was very nice to wake up to the sunrising into our room. When we stayed there for a couple of nights, the maid made sure we were taking care of, by giving clean towels and making the beds etc. I was glad the coffee was right there instead of going to a store to get one. They had everything...

JnR hotel is a joke. We stayed here because the Sunrise Motel was full and we had no other place to stay. The owners/operators are old crabby folks with zero hospitality. We later learned from locals that owners were not small town folk but transplants from the big city so you won't get the small town hospitality from them. My...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located on Main St. in downtown Cedarville, CA where it is an easy walk to visit local shops, bars and restaurants. Great viewing mountains, lake, people and animals from the second story decks. The cattle drives and parades pass right by out front. We now use the Ionizor Exp for the cleanest chemical free rooms around. Certified green. ... more   less
