Staying in one of the oldest building in town is certainly a way to soak up the traditions of an interesting historical area. Each room was different, furnished with wonderful antiques and just a delight to see. The owner was a little short handed when we were there but more than helpful for any request. Sharing his homemade tsipouro late...

We picked Arnaia by chance because we wanted to go to Halkidiki, but we weren't so convinced of the beach hotels that we saw. Even though it is not on the water, it is a perfect choice to explore the entire area and within a 1/2 hour easy car drive, you are on beautiful, quiet and secluded beaches. The town's...

A beautiful place to stay, an interesting result of a traditional restored building and a very pleasant enviroment. The people were friendly and the service excellent. Although we stayed for one night, we could definitely go back for another weekend.

The hospitality of Spiros and his wife were more that overwhelming, with the food being both tranditional and tasty (and enough!!). The fireplace was keeping...

Have just returned from 10 days at the Alexandrou Inn, Arnea. We booked through Inn Travel, so easy. We could not have wished for a better get away from the "rat race". Spiros and Figalia looked after us fantastically. Food was great, more than we could eat, local produce, local dishes and really good. A beautifully restored building packed with...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Characterized by the Ministry of Culture as a “rich historical location”, the beautiful and picturesque village of ARNEA, that dates back to Ancient Greece and also maintains very important samples of traditional Macedonian architecture, lies on the foot of Mount Holomonda, and is approximately 70 km from the city center of Thessaloniki. This is where one will find “Alexandrou Traditional Inn”, a unique complex which consists of a historical two– storey house that was built in 1812 whose restoration and renovation began in 1998 and was completed in 2000 and another two-storey traditional house that was built in 1924 whose restoration and renovation began in 2005 and was completed in 2006.
