Thank you very much for the kind stay at Cypress Tree Motel. We were traveling and made an overnight there - very spontaneous, and enjoyed a great night with very kind service. The rooms are easy but there's enough space. Most of the time we spend at the beach, which is like 2 min. or in the little backyard.

Walking up and down the three block town we came across this motel. We had checked out others along the walk and found they started close to $100.00 a night. One was $149.00. So we checked out the room and for $77.00 got a room with 2 beds, one being in a closed off tiny bedroom. Shower only. You are...

This is the second time we have stayed here. The last time it was a happy discovery on a road trip. We loved it so much we had to return. It is now under new management. The rooms are much the same, individually decorated & very quirky which is what we loved. It is true to say the rooms are...

This was our first time to stay at Cypress Tree. We were on a motorcycle trip for our anniversary, Made reservations to stay for two nights, After a three hundred mile ride we arrived to find out our room wasn't available. Not a good start of a celebration. ( A common mistake made by many motels/hotels.) Well Lori was as...

Admittedly, the carpet in our room had seen better days. The coffee stains from previous guests had been too much to remove. The room was not big, but with good facilities and--apart from the stains in the carpet--clean. The manager is a lively type.

We had stay at this motels a few times in past years & always loved it. It was very clean & a nice grassy area to sit outside & enjoy the wonderful ocean air so we were excited to visit & stay here again. I can't express how disappointed we were, the grass area was very unkept, people with two...

In this charming and original motel, we enjoyed a very clean room with a kitschy decoration and even a kitchen for a very decent proce. The tenant was very friendly. I wished I could stay longer there, definitely a great option in Cayucos.

It was getting late in the afternoon when we arrived in Cayucos. We found this motel and were made welcome by the lady in reception. We stayed in the Wild Wild West room which was next to the garage. There was a pickup truck next to our room with an old mattress in the back. Inside, the first thing I...

The carpet was filthy, as were the curtains. The room smelled of stale bacon grease, and the management was nowhere to be found when we needed to check out. Very poorly run, lousy business ethics. Would not return calls after 2 messages were left. Very disappointing experience.

first of all I would like to say that if you are looking to stay in a Hilton style resort in Cayucos you should probably step back and cruise back down to Pismo Beach where it is less localized and more commercial. Cayucos is one of the last little beach towns in Cayucos and it definitely has a different, old...
