Wonderful place to stay. A quiet neighbourhood, beautiful house and garden and such a lovely welcome from the hosts Tracy, Mary and Amanda. Beds were very comfortable, the rooms spotlessly clean and the breakfast a real treat. The special cinnamon cake on our second day was a delightful surprise! Afternoon tea and cheese and wine later were a decadent treat...

We chose this B&B based on reviews in TripAdvisor. It was every bit as wonderful as the reviewes we read. The B&B is one of the larger houses in this million dollar neighborhood with quiet streets and 2 blocks from the beach. Our room was on the 2nd floor and spanned the entire front of the house with the attached...

Yes, there is a Sea View, if you are in Room 4, and look beyond the trees. (Room 4 is on the 3rd floor). Love the quiet neighborhood and that it is closer to the beach. The highlight for us was the wine and cheese served from 5:30 to 7. The Inn also had a very welcoming living room space....

My initial reason for staying here was that it is very close to the beach. However, I didn't realize until after, that the summer weather in Carmel is not what I consider "beach weather." The B&B is located on a quite street about half a mile from town. We walked close to a mile each night to get to our...

We stayed in Carmel in the Sa View Inn for two days in July 2012 and loved it. Loved our beautifully decorated room, the cozy livingroom/diningroom, the social whine hours and the breakfast in the morning. Knowing and loving b & b´s and preferring it to anonymous big hotel chains I wouldn´t change this way of travelling in the world....

Although the room was rather small, it was attractive and everything else about the Sea View Inn was perfect. It is one of the oldest houses in the town, with a cosy old-world atmosphere. Lovely big lounge to sit in and relax and enjoy the extras - tea and cookies in the afternoon; wine, biscuits and cheese in the early...

We're so glad we stayed here. The hostesses could not have been friendlier, the breakfast was good, and it was so nice to be away from the very crowded and noisy downtown area. We shared rooms 1 and 2 with friends, sharing a very nice and big bathroom. It's very nice to save a little money in pricey Carmel. The...

We stayed at the Sea View Inn for 1 night, what a treat! The place is stunning, every detail has been taken care of; from the cute decor to the magnificently helpful Margo (the hostess) to a very tasty and plentiful wine and cheese hour! I really hope to make it back here at some point. Carmel is a great...

The Sea View Inn was a choice that I made from reading great reviews, and it certainly lived up to the expectations that I had! Carmel is such a pretty place but we arrived to one of the sea fog days that the coast gets in June time, but the welcome that we got from Margo and her lovely staff...
