This is a great place for a short stay in Carmel. It's 2 blocks off Ocean Ave. and within walking distance of everything. Convenient, free parking. We had two rooms on the main floor, one king and one queen. Both were nicely furnished, attractively decorated, and in good condition. Beds were comfortable. Baths have been remodeled with granite counters and...

We drove to 5th and Mission in Carmel and tried to find the Clarion Collection. Downtown Carmel does not use street addresses, so one can only find a hotel by its sign, and we did not see a Clarion sign anywhere near that corner. Finally we asked at another motel nearby, which gave us precise directions about which driveway to...

We found this hotel through Trip Advisor and it was a really great find. It felt like staying at a friends house instead of a hotel, friendly staff, really nice room with 'character', not a cookie cutter room. Great location and overall great stay. Highly recommended!

This place is very charming with nice sized rooms, and nicely appointed too. The only drawback is that they don't seem to have air conditioning. At least room 301 didn't. Luckily the weather in Carmel is perfect so no a/c is really needed. Can get a bit noisy if your not really used to sleeping with the windows opened. Friendly...

Small room with low ceiling. No Tub....just a shower stall. Pros: conveniently located, free parking, free wi-fi, free breakfast delivered to the door every AM. It was OK for one night, Office staff friendly and helpful.

The right price for a great Carmel location. A hop, skip and jump from Ocean street shops, area galleries, and restaurants. Although the rooms are a bit small, they are quaint and comfortable. A breakfast basket is left at your doorstep. That's a nice touch!

This is a nice looking hotel just a 5 minute walk from the shops. It has parking and check-in was efficient, if a little unfriendly. Our room was on the upper floor (there are two floors) and there is no lift. We had heavy luggage so this was a pain. The room was clean and comfortable but the decor was...

Very clean, comfortable room, a little on the small side if you were staying for a while but perfectly adequate for a night. A continental breakfast is delivered in a basket to your doorstep around 8 a.m. It’s nothing to get excited about, especially if you don’t eat gluten; we bypassed the cornflakes and packaged pastry but had the milk,...

After extensive research this was the cheapest we could find. Location great, decor very old and needs update.Walls very thin so can hear toilet flushes etc. No plug in sink but guy on desk very pleasant and provided one. Breakfast fine. Liked the basket delivery. For anyone visiting now ( we are leaving today) it is very cold and has...

Wonderful location on 5th and Mission right in downtown Carmel by the Sea. I can't say enough positive things about this bed and breakfast place. Looking around this is probably the best value around at $125 for a 2 double suite. Like Jane S mentioned, high lodging and city tax of close to $20 so total comes to $145 but...
