Fireplace in the room. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Nice continental breakfast left at front door in the morning. Good coffee. We stayed in the room with three beds. Very nice for three adults. The main room stayed warm due to the fireplace. The separate room with third bed was cooler. An extra blanket was in the closet. Just...

We were passing through Carmel without a reservation and found the Candle Light Inn. A quick search for reviews and we gave it a try. The front desk clerk was pleasant and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. We only stayed the one night, but want to return for a longer stay!

We are fortunate to live just 40 minutes from Carmel and love to pop down there for an overnight stay every 6 months or so. And we like to try new properties each time. In the past have enjoyed stays at the Cobblestone Inn, Lamplighter Inn, The Pine Inn. The Candle Light Inn is perfectly located. Park the car and...

Most hotels double their rates at this time, so finding the Candle Light enabled us to stay longer. Room #19 was like a little cabin with a kitchen, stove, micro, refer and table. There was also a fire place and small couch. Candle Light didn't have room to serve continental breakfasts but I rather enjoyed selecting from a menu each...

The Candle Light is located very conveniently within Carmel's shopping area (couple of blocks from Ocean Street), however we did not find the Candle Light particularly distinct from the next door Best Western. Our bed was very comfortable but nothing else about the Candle Light distinguished it from staying at a chain establishment. The continental breakfast incl small boxes of...

This hotel was on our way from San Francisco back down to Los Angeles. Friends from church had stayed at the Candle Light Inn and highly recommended it to us. We were very please with the accommodations and found everything to be just as described. We sat by the fire pit in the evening. It was very nice and just...

Really, really nice hotel in a good location in the lovely town of Carmel. Walking distance of anywhere in the town. Rooms were charming with all the facilities you would need and a lovely bathroom. Fire-pit outside was a nice touch and a good place to read a book in the early evening. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our first stop on a 2 week trip to Northern California. We absolutely loved everything about this place - the beautiful romantic room equipped with a brick fireplace and jaccuzzi. The continental breakfast was uniquely done - just put your order in the night before and it magically arrives the next morning in a little cooler right outside...

This inn is located beside several other similar style inns. The room was much nicer than we expected, it was very clean very high quality. The continental breakfast is a highlight of this inn, you lace your order the night before and it gets delivered to your room in a cooler pack. Within walking distance to the beach area. I...
