I stayed a night here in December. The room was clean, well maintained, and well stocked with towels, amenities (soap, shampoo, lotion). Breakfast came promptly and was more than ample -- two yogurts, apple, banana, clementine, muffins, mango and peach juice. Bed comfortable.. Staff were efficient and courteous. Parking ample. Easy to find in the somewhat confusing street layout of...

We have stayed at Carmel Resort Inn for the last 14 years, the location is perfect, like having your own private cottage, can sit in front of your cottage look at the stars and very romantic, the managers Anna and her husband very helpful.

I stayed here with my dog for 6 nights while waiting for the condo I rented to be ready to move in. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I appreciated that it's pet friendly. Each cottage is different and unique. Please remember this isn't some ritzy Carmel hotel and keep in mind the cottages were built in the early...

We liked the location and the breakfast was decent. However, this is probably one of the most poorly maintained hotels I have ever stayed at in in my life. When we arrived at 8PM, there was a wet bath towel in the bathroom. There was a wet hand towel in the sink that had been used by someone to wipe...

Comfortable and cozy room with gas heater, microwave, small fridge and coffee machine... The room isn't big but enough for a couple. Breakfast is delivered every day around 8:30 am and is good and fresh! Good choice for 2 or more days... The bad side is its location: not walking distance from downtown / around 10min by car.

A long walk into town, streets not lighted and dark at night, but but most importantly, very indifferent service: Breakfast supposed to be delivered to room between 8 and 9, but on half the mornings, it never came at all; and a sink that would not drain that was never fixed, although mentioned to the front desk at least twice....

We stayed here 6 or 7 years ago during the winter and liked it except that the heater did not warn up the room enough for us. After reading all the current reviews, we were a little reluctant to stay here again. However, we got a good deal on the One-Bedroom King Cottage and stayed for 2 nights. It is...

We arrived right at check-in time and were quickly directed to our little cottage of two bedrooms, two queen-sized beds, and a living room and kitchenette. We were pleased with the space, although all the rooms need to be updated with newer furniture, newer materials and fixtures. However, were this to be done, the price would be much higher. For...

We were spending a few nights in Carmel on our trip down to the big sur,it was different from your usual hotel room,a cottage with your own entrance/driveway and patio. We mad our way to our cottage after arriving later than expected,a nice room with fire, television could be more updated, the only disappointment was a pile of bark dumped on the front...

This place needs a major overhaul, including the unprofessional staff... Our stay began as we walked in a very musty , tiny room. We had requested a fridge, which of course was not there. When I went to the office to ask for one , They looked at the computer and said" oh yes u requested one, however, they said...
