Stayed for one night and wished we had stayed for longer. Carmel itself is beautiful albeit a little expensive. The Green Lantern was lovely and we had a very warm welcome. It was really quaint and charming and had tea and coffee on tap and home made cookies during the afternoon. Breakfast was lovely also and the position of the...

Employees made you feel like you were staying with family. Great breakfast and fantastic location in town. Our room was great for families. Short walk to the beach. We'd absolutely stay again. Very easy drive to pebble golf.

Great breakfast, order day previous and no wait for service. Our room was very cozy, but not small cozy. Close to Ocean ave and the beach but away from the main crowds. Sitting areas and availability to coffee and hot chocolate was nice touch, internet worked flawlessly.

3 couples have been staying at the Green Lantern Inn yearly in April or May for three days for the men to play golf and the ladies to shop in Carmel for many years. We always enjoy our stay and our wine/cocktails on the patio at days end. Then it is off to Carmel for dinner. A great place.

I liked the inn but they need to spend some money to update the bathrooms.....we had 3 couples and frankly all three rooms needed an update. Bathrooms were out of the 1960's and frankly I don't think anything has been done since then. Other than that it's a warm cozy small inn.

Great place to stay in Carmel! Very easy walking distance to all the shops and to the beach. Comfortable room, very friendly staff and a good breakfast buffet. Pleasant decor (my girlfriend loved the wallpaper..!) included fresh flowers and extra blankets for cold nights!

We has a wonderful stay in this lovely inn. The room was clean, comfortable and sunny. The location couldn't have been better - a couple of blocks from shopping, dining and the beach. It is also a 20 minute walk to Carmel Mission. Breakfast was tasty and included a frittata plus fresh cut up fruit. We had a small problem...

Perfect location, great service, clean room, good price, and retains a cozy, rustic feel perfect for Carmel. We stayed 4 adults, 1 child, and 1 puppy in the Redwood Room and it was great!!! They even found one of my puppies toys and are mailing it back to me.

“We booked a 2 room suite. The reason I gave a 4 star for sleep quality is because I had the smaller room with what looked like a futon. My other family members had the main room with a queen size bed. Their quality of sleep was excellent. I enjoy the fact this hotel did not require a minimum time of stay with such a short notice”
