The Tickle Pink Inn was a general disappointment due to the overenthusiastic TripAdvisor recommendations and the large sum being spent on the room. We were personally shocked to see a 10% county tax added to the already overpriced room. I would not recommend this place unless the rooms cost 30-40% less. Great views are so easy to come by in...

It is very disheartening that this guest did not appreciate our property...especially not as much as the other reviewers they reference. We apologize that our complimentary food services were a disappointment. Our Wine and Cheese Reception is a great time to unwind in the company of fellow travelers. Most of our guests seem to enjoy the variety of cheeses, including...

This was a truly incredible and unique stay for us. We spent two nights in the Senator's cottage, so my review will be specific to that since it's seperate from the rest of the hotel. We were greeted with warm chocolate chip cookies when we arrived and check in was very smooth. We were told that the cottage has a...

I'm so surprised that this place is the 2013 Travlers Choice/Romance?? I really wanted to like this place because I loved the name. Nice view, bed was ok, but could use update as I think this whole property needs. This place has NO Air conditioning. Now from what they told us it never gets that hot there and the breeze...

Generally speaking, our weather is thought to be appealing, as we typically experience stable and mild temperatures throughout the year. With that said, there is the occasional "heat wave" wherein temperatures will reach into the high 70's to low 80's. As this occurs for but a few days out of each year, most properties in Carmel do not have air...

We booked this hotel as a special treat for our wedding anniversary and were looking forward to the wonderful views we had read so much a out. Sadly for us the hotel was shrouded in mist and fine drizzle through out stay. The hotel is so remote that without the view and the ability to sit on the terrace it...

We are very sorry for the foggy weather that occurred last year during the month of July. Because we are situated by the coast, it can be a common occurrence during the warm summer months. Referencing the comment by our receptionist, she was referring to the great number of guests that actually seek out this type of coastal weather to...

Seriously, it's not the cheapest hotel ever, but it's worth every cent. Wish we'd been able to stay more than one night.....but we'll definitely be going back without a dount and (staying for at least 3 nights next time). The rooms was superb, the bed super comfy, the decor/fit out was high end and the service/staff fantastic. They even sent...

I booked the hotel for our 10 year anniversary. I will admit I was concerned spending so much just for the view. But in the end it was truly worth it, once you open your room door and see the view right as you enter is just priceless. I guess I got lucky and got booked in a great room...

We stayed here for one night during the week of our 30th Anniversary. We actually walked in without a reservation after driving up US01 from Pismo, and were fortunate to have a few rooms to choose from (midweek). Deciding to book here is not a decision to take lightly, as it is $350 - $400+ per night, but they do...

We drove from LA to Carmel by US01. Got just in time to see the sunset in our room balcony. Breathtaking, A few minuter after we´ve checked in hotel staff sent us a bottle of prosecco with a rose. Room is amazing, with a very cozy fireplace. friendly and helpfull staff.

We stayed at the Tickle Pink for 5 nights in May. At 400.00 a night, this was quite an investment! I spent some time on the phone with the hotel as to the rooms, view, etc. Even though we booked at least 3 months in advance, we had to change rooms after the first night. That was fine... no problem....

Beautiful location, large rooms with execellent views of the Ocean. After checking in a bottle of champage and a pink rose was delivered to our room, compliments of the hotel. Wine and cheese in the afternoon was very generous, great wine. Loved the area of Carmel by the sea. Book a reservation early to go to Demetre's restuarant, Greek food...
