First of all - this place is centrally located in Ireland, making it the perfect base for those intending to explore disparate parts of the country. Most importantly, though, it's wonderfully welcoming and cozy. This is a small thing, but the shower in our room was wonderfully indulgent. There are TENNIS COURTS!! Even though we spent only two days at...

Together with my fishing buddy, we concluded this is the best B&B for our annual fishing holiday; We have come to Ireland for over 20 years and this place has it all: tackle and clothing drying room, a huge amount of up to date info on lakes and the necessary local connections. Superb food, quality and quantity! Very clean and...

Both Pearl and Wilson were welcoming, friendly, attentative and very accommodating. They made every attempt to make us feel welcome. We recieved coffee and home made scones on arrival. However we felt we were in a time warp with everything very dated. There appears have been an issue with wifi as we could not access any. The room was quite small...

The Arches is a gorgeous place. It is immaculate and very pretty. Our room was lovely - large and well appointed. Our hosts were welcoming, helpful, and gracious. This was by far the best B&B of our trip. I highly recommend it.

Just got back from a 2 night stay in the Arches. The accommodation is very comfortable and cosy. The bedrooms are very large and exceptionally clean with en suite facilities and stunning views from the bedrooms. The gardens around the house are very well kept by the family. We had endless supplies of tea and homemade cakes and the breakfast...

We were met (quite late at night) with a pot of tea and homemade scones. The breakfast next morning was cooked to perfection by the excellent host, Pearl. Homemade jams and marmalade included. Pick your own time, and take as long as you want! The bedrooms were very clean and comfortable with free WiFi and Flat screen TV. Views from...

We were treated to an excellent breakfast with many hot and cold choices. The bread and jams were homemade and we enjoyed fresh eggs from their farm. Cozy room decorated in a country style with private bath; kettle and tea things in the room. There is a sitting room for guests. Could enjoy privacy but owners very open to conversation...

Outstanding! Pearl and Wilson were wonderful hosts. We found out about The Arches while we were staying in another B&B near Belfast and thought we give it a try. Great decision! The breakfasts, the view, the friendliness, the location, the cleanliness of the rooms, the tranquility - all superb. Pearl was able to provide us with so much local knowledge...

Everything was perfect. We arrived quite late and Pearl was so gracious, and even served us coffee and homemade cake. Our breakfast included fresh baked bread and homemade currant jam. I would totally recommend Arches Farmhouse.
