We love love love Seapointe Resort. We have been coming here for nine years. The staff are always kind and caring. They are welcoming and accommodate our needs. Dexter, who I believe has also been here every year we have come, always has great activities for everyone to do. Caitlin at the front seat is always helpful. The resort is in a convenient location south of Carlsbad center and just west of I5. There is plenty of parking in a garage on the first floor. Suites are large and comfortable. Housekeeping service is excellent (we had service from Noemid Flores). The concierge provides a list of local restaurants and businesses and we received excellent food and service from these businesses.

From check in all the way to our check out day, the resort staff was so friendly and helpful. The unit was beautiful. There was construction happening but did not interfere with our time. We want to go back when it is complete to see how it all turned out! I would recommend this resort to anyone.

Olivia was very friendly and Thorough with her house cleaning and patient with us as we had to move stuff around!!!😊 The whole resort is excellent, cozy, clean, and the views are just astonishing. Everything you need is in the kitchen and they have washer and dryer facilities in just a BEAUTIFUL game in the area. Workout area is very nice.

This is our 3rd year in a row to stay at Carlsbad Seapointe Resort. We continue to have a wonderful vacation at the Resort. We absolutely LOVE it here. Each staff member is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Since the Coaster is walking distance from the resort, on multiple days we took advantage. So fun and easy to take the Coaster to SD, Encinitas, Carlsbad Village, etc for breakfast, lunch, some shopping or sight seeing. Dexter and Joelle, the activities directors made our trip the BEST! Each year we look forward to seeing Dexter and what activities he has planned that week.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. Everyone attended to all our needs in a very timely manner. There is some construction going on, but I requested Ocean facing, away from the construction, they kindly accommodated us. Our housekeeper Noemid was absolutely wonderful.

Great timeshare with a fun activities team. Dexter is very fun and helped us all week. Welcomed with margaritas, mingled midweek at wine tasting with lesson on how to fold origami flowers. Beach made easy for kids as resort loaned us chairs, body boards and sand toys… and even a wagon to haul everything to the beach. Resorts Splash playground afterwards was a big hit with the kids.

This resort is 5 stars! Stunning views of the ocean! Meticulously clean rooms. The staff here has superseded my expectations over and over again this week. During the Wednesday towel exchange the housekeeper noticed that we were preparing a cake for my wife’s birthday. A few minutes later the housekeeping manager and staff were at our door singing happy birthday! They gave my wife extra towels, wrapped in the shape of a cake, and a very nice package of chocolate. Thank you Erica, Noemid, and Flores for your thoughtfulness. We had a minor item that needed to be fixed and maintenance was on it within hours. Every interaction we had with the front desk staff was outstanding. They were happy, helpful and professional. We arrived late in the evening having driven over 500 miles to get there. Even that late, Jose was upbeat, positive, friendly, and helpful. I worked as a manager in customer service for over 30 years. I know what great service should look like. We are at the property now during the week of October 8-15, 2023. If you are planning to come visit soon, I would highly recommend considering a stay at another resort- at least during the demolition phase. The Carlsbad Seapointe resort has an entire building under renovation that seems to be part of a process to renovate all buildings one at a time. The current demolition phase is extremely LOUD and disruptive. Monday, October 9th during the afternoon and before 9 am October 10 was filled with jackhammers pounding in the concrete for hours. October 13 has loud noise from cutting railing attachments. We are in our unit with doors and windows closed and still the noise is so disturbing and its hard to hear one another talk during the jackhammering. Definitely unable to use the balcony due to noise. The family pool area is adjacent to the construction site so the pool is empty because no one can stand the construction noise. I asked the front desk about moving to a unit further away from the construction and and was immediately told there is nothing available. I asked for a construction schedule hoping to avoid the loudest demolition hours and was given and abrupt reply that construction is 9-6. I found that odd since the jackhammers began before 9 one day. I am sure the front desk is weary of disappointed guests requesting to be relocated to a quieter location (not sure it is possible during this extremely noisy demolition period) however, some more empathy for guests who are disappointed to be vacationing with a jackhammer filled day, would be appreciated. The building under renovation is building 2. Definitely request not staying in buildings 1 or 3 if you decide to stay at Carlsbad Seapointe Resort. I am writing this review hoping to save someone the same disappointment I have experienced. In addition to the expense, so much work and effort goes into planning and arranging a vacation. Had I realized the construction would be so invasive, I would have definitely chosen a different resort. Overall, the resort is lovely. The grounds are nice. The units are nicely appointed, well maintained and clean. Its definitely not a resort that anticipates your needs but more or less is willing to accommodate requests if you wish to take time out of your vacation to make such requests. The front desk is average- not overly pleasant or anxious to please but at fairly cordial. One exception to the front desk staff is Kaitlyn. She is definitely interested in going above and beyond and her kindness is appreciated!! Maintenance and housekeeping seem to be friendly and pleasant. Activities looked fun enough but were mostly offered late in the afternoon and we had left the resort by afternoon hoping to avoid the noise. Thus, I cannot offer much information about activities. Beach rentals such as camping chairs, sand toys, boogie boards and one volleyball are available for daytime checkout for free. Quite nice!…
