My partner and I decided to road trip peru. This hotel was the only place to stay between our stop from Lima to our next place. The price was good, some people say it’s expensive for what it was , well isn’t peru just like this. It was much cleaner than any place we paid £100 in Ollantaytambo. So back to hotel. From outside it looks a little neglected, Even shut down, but the man who checked us in was so nice. He opened parking for our car, next building to hotel. He checked us in quick, his very little English was 100 percent better than our non speaking Spanish. Room very basic, balcony looking on to ocean was a plus. We arrived 6pm dropped bags off, headed 5 mins away for food, returning and sleeping. Up very early next day so really not using any of the rooms facilities. Overall it was a safe place to stay and host was kind and friendly. Thank you for your help.

In as much as this is on the main Panamericana route, this is definitely not one of the best places to stay at. There are only stairs to go up to your rooms, and querky stairs they are. Once in the room, there is actually nothing that works, nothing. Apart from the Ocean view from the room, there really is not a single plus point. There was a musty smell the room, the TV did not work, the beds were awful and old sheetings, the shower, well, I just did not bother to have one it was that awful. Brushing my teeth was about as much time as I wanted to spend there. The wifi, was none existant. The breakfast took forever to come, and it was very basic. The only single plus point is that this place is on the Ocean side and you can walk right up the beach from the hotel - but if you can find another hotel with similar location, defo go there. To say it is fine "as I just want to sleep", is not good enough here.

Great view, but room needs some update, good place to stop from Nazca to Arequipa and make sure you aren't here for the Saturday night cause you won't sleep a bit, big concert on the beach, go check the village, few restaurants and bars

If you enjoy beeing in a different time, this Place is Perfect For you. Beautiful view next to Chalas south, only a few minutes away from the port. Experience the market nearby.
Staff is nice and familiar, breakfast homemade and simple.

Stayed one night to break the journey from Arequipa to Nazca. This hotel charged 136 soles although the price on the displayed list was 130 - they said that the increase was due to prices were going up in 2019. Big room, slightly outdated furniture, but great view over beach and sea. Room was not clean though - there were lots of insect wings, but when saying that to the receptionist who helped with our luggage, he just shrugged.
Breakfast was standard (2 bread rolls, 1 piece of coldmeat, butter and jam, coffee/tea and a glass of juice). When asking for cold water, I got a bottle, which they wanted to charge extra when we checked out. Only when I complained, they offered it for free - in my view, as a high price accommodation, they should have drinking water for free.
I would not come back.

The hotel is located directly at the panamericana and very loud.
Positive are the stairs to the beach (direct access) and there is private parking place (for free).
The breakfast was very basic, no cheese, no ham, just rolls, eggs and jam.
