Best snow, best people. For a bunch of boys to get neck deep in powder and sink beers in the evening this was the perfect spot. Make sure you do a day trip or two to Rusutsu, arguably the best snowboarding spot in the world.

Staying at the GreenLeaf, we're not really buffet people and having had a few poor dining experiences in Niseko village, we came across this gem. A 10 minute walk down the road, glad I pack a pocket torch to be safe. It's a real skiers hang out, bustling with groups of excited snow hounds, with the a mandatory ski video...

Had an awesome week there. The staff, especially D, was very welcoming and friendly. They helped us plan our daily trips and gave us ride when they could. The food is good, rooms are clean and it's perfectly located.

We stayed over Christmas in a double room & felt very welcome over the festive period, they put on a lovely Christmas dinner at a very reasonable price! The accommodation is basic but more than adequate for a stay in the mountains & the free shuttle bus to the onsen's made for an amazing end to any day on the...

Such excellent service! They went out of their way to help us many times over- giving advice, help, free rides to Moiwa etc etc. Excellent breakfast, but get in early if you want access to all the goodies.

You'll tell your grandchildren of this place. If you're a serious snow-slider making a pilgrimage to Hokkaido during the winter season, you'll find no accommodations more perfect than Black Diamond Lodge. If getting blasted by blower pow day-after-day is not among your top priorities-- you may be happier elsewhere. The Lodge provides everything you'll need for an epic ski vacation....

The Black Diamond lodge feels like you're back living at your parents place, except you wake up to 40 cm of fresh powder instead of classes. Dee and the BDL staff has got everything covered, the only things you need to worry about are your bruised hands from all those high fives from an EPIC day skiing the area! Dee...

Four of us visited from the UK and BDL was perfect for us. Rooms are a bit basic, but beds are really comfortable, and the whole lodge is spotlessly clean! Breakfast as others have said is great. Perfect to set you up for the day. 10 min walk to the lifts (on first day, just get on lift without a...

This place was perfect. Great staff, chill atmosphere and perfect vibe. Really made you feel at home... Oh yeah also went out of their way to set up a side trip to Kiroro which resulted in the best day of skiing in my life! Waist deep pow. It was all time! Thx BDL!
