A friend recommended Chullachaqui Lodge to us, so this is why we decided to go here versus the many other options in the area. We opted for the 5 day / 4 night stay so we would have the best chance of seeing many of the rare animals in the area, and we were rewarded on a constant basis. An...

I stayed in the chullachaqui Lodge 2 nights 3 days. The lodge is simple and sometimes you find some spiders and other insects in your room, but that was exactly what I was searching for., the view from the lodge is very pretty! The staff is very friendly, the food is simple but good and more sufficient. The best about...

The only good thing on this lodge were the tours into the jungle - even my guide tried to hook up with me and the sexual harassment, he knew a lot about the jungle...so this was the good part of my jungle experience. There are no words for how disgusting the "eco lodge" was. Eco should not stand for dirty,...

Decide for this company, cause was recomended in the hostel. The owner Walter told me a lot of special stuff about the accomontation, food and tours. The only think its true was the tour (cause got the best guide). The facilities on this place was the worst ever. Want take a bath in the Amazonas and go for toillet in...

I don't like how the company sells things - too much words and advertising but actually unorganized work. However, it's the jungle guide Raul who made our trip unforgettable. He was born there and grew up there, told me a lot about people's life in the jungle, took me to his village and his home, met his family. Compare to...

My partner and I travelled to Peru in March of 2016, and wanted to experience the Amazon rainforest! We had spoke to a few people on our travels and lots of people recommended Iquitos, Peru. It sounded like a really cool place as you can't get to the city by land, only by boat or plane. We opted for the...

We (4 girls) stayed in the lodge for four nights and had an unbelievable time in the jungle. I guess the amount of animals you will be able to see depends on your luck but the walks themselves are a great experience. Our guide was Raul and his knowledge and love for the jungle made our stay an unforgettable time!!...

Had an awesome time at the lodge and on the jungle tour. We saw many animals and the staff was friendly. Our guide Raul was great. The staff at the lodge was also very nice and the lodge was clean. This place is not near any other lodges so you get an authentic jungle experience. I booked a 5 day...

My family and I went on a 2 week long trip through Peru and at last minute decided to finish off our trip in Iquitos. We only had 2 days and nothing planned and stumbled upon "Iquitos Amazonian Trips" office. We met Walter (Manager) and he offered us 2 days worth of trip through the city, amazon, and rainforest. We...

We spent 4 days at the lodge with Amazonian Trips, and overall had a great experience. Our guide, Raul, was very knowledgable and enthusiastic about everything we saw, and spoke very good English. The food was better than we have had on any other budget tour... They seem to really put in an effort to make is varied and delicious....

“Travelers should know going in that this is a lodge in the middle of the Amazon jungle -- there is no electricity, no hot water, and there are occasionally mosquitos and frogs wishing to keep you company. However, a five-star resort with full amenities would be an insult to both the people who live here and the natural beauty the Amazon has to offer.”
