Very nice resort taking into acount we are talking on local standarts. The service is excelent although the maintenance can be improved and so the bathroom that was freezing cold. The food was very nice and the view was outstanding.
I stayed at the Tigers Nest Resort for two weeks in 2017, and came back again in 2019 because of the beautiful location and homely feel it offers. I was happy to experience an even better level of service than my previous stay, and especially appreciated the warm bed and room in the cold month of November, and hot running water. I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again when I travel to Paro next. The view of the iconic Taktsang or "Tigers Nest" from this location is unparalleled by any other. This place is especially conducive for anyone who wants to spend some quality time reconnecting with nature and drawing inspiration from the spiritual qualities that Bhutan offers.
I had a wonderful time at Tiger Nest Resort we were here after we arrived from Paaro International Airport. Its very quiet and simple. If you are looking for a getaway with a view this place. I went during January so it was a bit cold so pack 3° night cold but if you are coming from colder places you won’t problem. But if you are not used it, it can get bit chilly in January. I’m writing all my reviews very late because I don’t have time for this. Anyway Bhutan’s a cool scenic place
I had an awesome stay at the resort. I came to celebrate my wedding anniversary and the staffs helped make a surprise dinner party. The room had a good view of the valley, and it has heater and bed warmer. They kept the room warm before we checked-in.And the food was very nice. They make as healthy as possible, I have requested vegan menu( which was bit rare in Paro) . Overall my wife and I enjoyed the stay. We will definitely be back!
Great location and best view from the hotel. Stuffs are very friendly and helpful. Rooms have all basic facilities. The driver they provided was very efficient and polite. Only bad thing was the cold temperature. Somehow their insulation was not very good. Every place in the hotel is chilling cold. But its not only the hotel but everywhere in Bhutan have heating problem. But the hotel rooms have heaters and bed warmer so it was.
I had an amazing time at this hotel. The porch out front is perfect for some morning tea over viewing the paddy field (and watch horses walking by if your're lucky). The food is delicious served by friendly staff which definitely adds up to the cosy atmosphere. Would recommend it to travellers visiting the iconic Tiger's Nest monastery or hiking hikes around Paro.
It’s hard to review this hotel as the staff tries hard and Bhutan is a developing country but there are deficiencies with the hotel. First I tried to turn on the lights but noticed all the lamps are missing light bulbs. The staff did quickly install them but how did they miss that? Then my room had no hot water. It took two requests and 90 minutes for the staff to fix it so I could have a shower - the problem was just with my room As well the hotel advertised shampoo and kettles in each room but my room had neither The hotel exterior does have character. It does as advertised have a view of tigers nest monastery but it looks small from the hotel and it is not worth paying extra just for the view
I believe this is the best Resort We have ever been. Room is very net and clean and view from the room are awesome. The staff are always ready to serve you the best with a big smile. Food is mouth watering and of many variables. Manager Mr. Sanju is very helpful. I forgot my jacket in the resort but he took all the necessary actions to send me the same in Thimpu. They all participate my daughter's birthday party rather they organized it made us feel like my second home. We will definitely visit this resort again and also request you to visit this Resort .
It’s a 3 star resort with basic facilities. The staff is good but the rooms are quite outdated, not much choice with food and has very limited breakfast option and dinner as well. At times we had issues with hot water as well.
The rooms are decent enough for the price that you pay. no great shakes. However as a family we were not ready enough to explore all the options at the hotel like the food for instance. If somebody doesnt have their own ride , then it is quite far from the Paro city. The Hotel does have a beautiful porch for having a coffee/Tea. Generally the service is fairly decent enough. Hotel decent enough to stay for a couple of nights. The hotel doesnt have elevators and this is a bit of a pain to see some one carry your luggage manually. This is also an incovenience when you have to check out while you have to carry the luggage down yourself.
