My friend recommended Nivvava after his trip to Bhutan last year, and it lived up to the brilliant reviews - Karma and Sonam were wonderful hosts and assisted with recommendations on places to visit as well as experiences in Bhutan. We stayed in Feb which was off season, and hence had the whole place to ourselves for most of our... More

We would not recommend this place to anybody, sorry! We were very enthusiastic about a homestay experience in Bhutan, but this was turned out to be a simple and cheap hotel. I can write about poor room heating, inefficient water heating, a MUST have in month of October. But once i see it as a cheap hotel, i guess these... More

Your stay will be awesome one. Guaranteed! I booked this place for a night, but my experience during checkin and pre-dinner meet up with Karma and team of Nivvana made my day. They were truly very hospitable people - caring and kind. Located near to green hills and spacious landscape, Nivvana is a perfect place to be. I would love... More

Karma is a great host and the Nivvana lodge is a wonderful place to stay for those looking for a homestay experience. The lodge is situated a little further away from the main town so it helps to keep a car at your disposal. The rooms & bathrooms were clean as shown in the pictures. We had a great time... More

This is advertised as B&B , however their breakfast is charged. The food sucks. The room does have heaters however not effective. The rooms don't have carpets. With a weather of 0 degree centigrade, one cannot have a comfortable stay in this room. Wifi works only in common area, however it has limitation of number of users. The road which... More

Rooms were okay, with heaters hot water clean beds & blankets. No T.V. in rooms. WI FI connectivity was horrible. Erratic with no connectivity on 2nd day evening till departure next day. Preparation of food was poor & prohibitively expensive with roti's 25/- per piece & bed tea black 60/- per cup.Chicken curry 250/- for 5 pieces.

Best part of Nivvana Lodge is that it's near to Tiger's Nest around 4-5 kms and delicious food that they serve. The old Nepali Cheff there prepared mouth watering Chicken Curry and Dal Fry. The room rates they charged were not higher compared to other places we stayed in Bhutan, but owner Ms Karma helped us a lot planning our... More

It turned out to be one of the best experience that i was to have during my stay in Bhutan. The host Karma and Rindiki are the most... More

Bhutan has been a dream destination for long, so finally when a plan was made to travel to Bhutan, my excitement was at an all time high! Our first stop in Bhutan was Paro where we stayed at Nivvana Lodge and Homestay. Arriving late on a starlit night, I remember gazing at the full moon as the clouds played peek... More

It was truly a memorable stay as I am writing this review almost 1.5 years after the visit as I just recommended the place to a friend and got reminded of all the lovely memories. Both the owner and staff and very friendly and welcome you with a smile. Bonfire with authentic Bhutanese food was really amazing.
