We had an exciting stay at Nirvana Inn during our recent tour to Paro, Bhutan. The hotel is conveniently located right at the center of Paro city. The famous Rinpung Dzong is at waking distance from the hotel. The room provided to us was very neat, clean and spacious with all modern facilities. The view of mountains, valleys and Paro streets from our room was amazing. The staffs of the hotel were very soft, polite and helpful. Overall, we had a memorable stay at Nirvana Inn, Paro. Highly recommended!!!
Paro is a valley town in Bhutan, west of the capital, Thimphu. It is the site of the country’s only international airport. Located at 2200 metre and with a population of less than 15000 it is Bhutan’s third largest town non-the-less. Paro is located along the length of the valley and the Hotel Nirvana Inn is right in the middle, as are all other hotels and cafes. That apart, Nirvana Inn is very well managed by the owners and a team of very smart and efficient female staff, just as everywhere else in Bhutan. They have a small lounge and the dining area located at the entrance. The rooms are ok for a price of $35 per day, and the food is good. Most importantly the staff is responsive to your requests without question. The hotel organized a lovely cultural show for the guests. A good value for money.…
Stayed here for one night. Cannot fault hotel as it seems to be brand new . Rooms was spotless and new although had problem.plugging in my phone charger to some sockets. Breakfast was basic and the restuarant is vegetarian. Wifi was good and its in the town so you can easily wander about. There were a few moments of confusion with the staff but nothing serious as i said its new and im sure its all just teething problems.
This is a very nice property at an amazing location. The staff is the most friendly and welcoming i have ever met.Really loved the place. The food was really nice . The staff made sure our stay was comfortable and also helped us with the places to visit in Paro. They went out of the way to make this trip memorable for us. The property is in the market place and the location is quite happening. You can walk down to a good restaurant or place to shop.
Nirvana has only been open about three months and provides a very attractive and economical alternative to the 'big resorts'. It is small (about 16 well sized rooms) and is in the middle of Paro within walking distance of everything. All hotel staff are amazingly courteous, friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Meals are very good but are restricted to Vegetarian. Try the Mushroom Pepper/Salt! Lots of other options nearby for the occasional 'non-veg' change. Hotel has excellent WiFi.
