The property is right in Paro city and walking distance form the market area as well as the taxi stand. very cooperative staff run by few elderly ladies. Kitchen serves decently good tasting food and breakfast is good too. They have good parking space. Room has wooden interiors and flooring and view from window is simple and very serene
We got motivated to stay in this hotel due to its low price and the photographs of the property. Specially we saw the BATHTUB. However, this hotel is not very beautiful. It is not maintained properly and has NO LIFT. Most shockingly it has NO INTERCOM. The rooms are small and squeaky. The TV is analogue. Plug points are in sufficient. The cloths, curtains, pillows, blankets all are spotty and dirty. Cupboards are not there. Toiletries are not good. No shower. Bathtubs look OLD. All rooms are not similarly equipped. The food is so and so just EDIBLE if you can tolerate the quality. Good thing is that there is NO BEEF and NO PORK too. Cost of FOOD is also LOW. The only good thing about the HOTEL is that it is in the PARO City area and the PARO city area is accessible from here. Be warned that this HOTEL is only good for you if you are seriously looking for a CHEAP HOTEL and you can compromise on QUALITY for a CHEAP STAY.…
Prefer this hotel only if you are on tight budget. The rooms are small, no cupboards, no elevators . Its an old property , but the staff is helpful and cheerful. The heaters are chargeable. The big plus point on this property its walking distance from main market and Dzong is hardly 1.5KM. Its has more of lodge feeling
There were several essentials were missing in hotel room No elevator - which is fine not a big problem No intercom - This is a concern for those who want order food beverage or need any assistance from hotel staff Bathroom - Hand faucet was missing
Very Near to city....Stinking bathrooms...barking Dogs....didn't liked the experience ..they have given two hotel rooms both are very bad unfortunate the Paro is completely booked so we are unable to get any other hotel.
Full of flies. No room service. No intercom. High rent and dissapointed room and quality. No one clean and very bad bathroom. Very small room and too stuffy. They are charging for 3 star and giving 0 star service.
Very average hotel. Located close to main city. The bathrooms of both the rooms I booked were stinking badly. On the first night, the management did nothing so I kept on spraying my deodorant all through the night. On the second night, they provided with a room-freshner, but neither of them was able to put away the smell. Hotel is very understaffed. Menu is too basic although quantity served was decent. If you are traveling with family and specially kids, there are other better hotels available in Paro.
It was mostly less than 5 degrees centigrade during evenings and due to the wind it used to be very chilling. Hotel is bit old, they have most of the facilitates but in my room most of the plug points were not working properly. Heater was provided and staff was very polite and helpful. Food at the restaurant was good but lacks variety. Its around 500mts from the main market. Taxis are readily available all the day near the hotel. Our room had great view, we could have a clear view of Dzong and the Museum, in the evening it used to look fabulous with the lighting.
Excellent location, hotel is just 10 mins away from Paro airport and also all the shops, Cafes and food corners of Paro town are within walking distance. Amenities like hot water and heater work perfectly. Food is excellent, trying local dishes is highly recommended. Hotel manager Suzan Subba is an awesome person and she has an amazing team of staffs with very friendly behavior and co-operative service. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to stay in Paro with a great value for money in mind.
