My friend and i had a lovely stay at Cambria Inn. Our room was clean and cosy. We cooked dinner in the kitchen and chatted with guests in the living room filled with books and comfy couches. The staff were friendly and available and gave us good advice about places to eat and things to do. They even posted something...

After a long day of biking down through Big Sur and being passed at the end of the day by lots of cars zipping along on Highway One, my daughter and I arrived in Cambria. Only vaguely remembering the town I somehow thought the Bridge Street Inn was near the highway and was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn't...

Traveling down the coast of CA with my son... we spent two lovely nights at the Bridge Street Inn..... we could have easily spent a whole week here. Comfortable room, lovely breakfast provided for those that were interested..... delicious home made bread/jam, oatmeal, locally picked fruit.... full kitchen if you wanted to make your own, or plenty of restaurants close...

Thanks so much for the kind words and are so glad you were able to stay a couple of days with us. One note, we usually have a very light breakfast of muesli out for guests. It's just on occasion that one of our interns shares some homemade bread and the fruits of summer when the pickings are good. We...

We were on a roadtrip through California and were really lucky to run out of gas in lovely Cambria. Even lovelier was this beautiful hostel with an amazing cost/quality ratio! We felt welcome from the first step we took through the front door. The hostel is really clean, cozy and home-like. The outside bonfire place is awesome. The best stay...

The Bridge Street Inn is well located near downtown, restaurants and winetasting. It feels like you are a guest in someone's home. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked to cook and grounds are comfortable to bbq and enjoy firepit at night. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I had an amazing time staying at the Bridge Street Inn, totally 2 days. I felt at home soon after I arrived, so much so that I was reluctant to leave the next morning. If it weren't because I was biking into the enchanting nature of Big Sur, I would probably have stayed at Bridge Street Inn for a few...

I surely wasn't expecting falling in live with this charming little inn. It would be a dream to own or manage a place like this! I bought a little book on Bridge St Inn by Brandon Follett entitled "Cambria loves me this I know", which is crazy, insightful and adorable. I loved everything about Cambria: a small town, relazing, great...

Thank you so much for the kind words. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope you come for a visit again soon. I'm sorry that I didn't get to meet you, since I was helping book author Brandon Follett, get ready to open his new hostel in North Carolina's Outer Banks. I hope you get there...

My daughter worked here a few years ago so I decided to stop with a friend. It was better than I thought it would be. Nestled in the absolutely delicious little town of Cambria, the Bridge St Inn is enfolded in a riot of flowers, bees and hummingbirds, sequestered at the end of the street next to a small church...

More bedrooms and bathrooms than you expect. Need a good no-stick pan for the kitchen. Great location! Nice outdoor table if the weather is good. Check out the toilets that have a unique recycle feature. Bring your own towels if you want a shower.

Thanks for the nice comment. We are rather proud of our collection of cast iron skillets, but we'll be sure to add a no-stick pan to the array of cooking options. We do provide towels to our groups and individual guests. Sorry if we missed getting you one. Our towels are somewhat small and not the plush thick towels that...

“I love the guest room as it has high ceilings and high windows and allows natural light to come into the room to get the most of the sunshine hours. It is like staying in a loft. I love the colour of the room as it is a golden and we had our own private wash room which was a bonus. The room has its own private entrance so that you can come and go as you please and it is separate from the rest of the building so it is a little quieter.”
