Super cute motel in the heart of downtown Cambria, easy walking distance to dining and shops (but not near the beach, in case that's something that matters to you...it didn't to us). Recently renovated and very nice and clean. They even gave us a mini apple pie as a welcome gift (it was delicious, check out Linn's while you're visiting for more amazing pie). Easy short drive to the beaches and San Simeon to see elephant seals or Hearst Castle. Small parking lot, but felt very safe and secure (able to park right outside our room, which was a nice bonus). Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to family and friends!
We stayed at this hotel while visiting Hearst Castle and the Piedras Blancas Light Station. We had a King room which was VERY clean. The bed was comfortable and hot water in the shower. Easy to park in the Inn's parking lot and a short walk to many delicious restaurants. We would recommend this hotel to others.
We stayed here while visiting Hearst Castle before traveling to Paso. The hotel is located near the shops and restaurants in town, but not near Moonstone beach. It has been recently renovated and was clean. We were on the top floor with a balcony view toward the back. There wasn't much to see, but it was somewhere to sit outside if you choose. The bed was so comfy! We were upgraded to a king from our queen or double queen (I forget). If you aren't looking for beach views I would recommend this hotel. Prices are good and it was clean and modern. I would recommend to others.
We arrived after a long, tiring drive and were thrilled to see our immaculately clean room and hear the soothing sound of "spring peepers" croaking from the creek behind the hotel. The beds were very comfortable; the room was newly renovated. The manager was quite friendly and helpful. Downtown restaurants and shops were just a short walk from the hotel. We loved watching and listening to the wildlife from the balcony of our room--deer, frogs, an owl, turkeys, and other birds. We were so comfortable there and enjoyed the area so much that we booked two extra nights.
The Creekside Inn is sparkling clean. Our bed was very comfy with nice soft linens. There was lots of fresh air, a great shower, and a great staff. My interactions with Samantha were warm and friendly. The location is convenient to all that the East end of town offers. LOVED IT!
Super clean, updated, peaceful. Perfect! Short walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Comfortable bed, great sounds of nature on the balcony. Easy parking. Make sure you understand the hvac before going to sleep - we had to ask for help from the front desk.
Newly renovated, spacious rooms, very clean. We were very warmly welcomed and checkin was fast and easy. A complimentary breakfast is available, yet due to Covid limited The motel is quietly located, yet stores and restaurant in walking distance. Highly recommended!
Very quiet and cute lodge style hotel at the end of the town. Great location for walking to restaurants. The beds and bedding were very comfortable! It has newly remodeled rooms that are clean. The check in was friendly. Why must I keep writing more?
We stayed there only overnight and was very please, the décor was very nice, the bed very comfortable. Everything you would need. I would highly recommend staying there. Only 5 minute walk into town for restaurants, health wise marked and awesome bakery. Sabrina was very gracious and helpful.
We stayed here for less than 24 hours. Cambria seems to be the closest town if you’re visiting Hearst Castle which is 20 mins away. From there, it’s another 40 mins to Paso Robles. The building is an L shape with the check in office at the front near the side walk. Tiny office with a Keurig machine. When you walk in the hotel room, the sink and closet is what you see first. It’s outside and separate from the toilet and shower. We stayed downstairs so it’s a shower not a bath tub. Not sure if all rooms are showers vice bath tub so keep this in mind if you have little ones and wanted to do bath time or a bubble bath person. Very nice remodeled contemporary room with new carpet. We got a kind bed. There’s a balcony with a patio to the back. Very peaceful and serene of greenery where you can hear birds chirping and see wildlife like squirrels. (+) The room has a microwave, mini fridge, desk, two chairs, iron, hair dryer, Keurig. (+) Plenty of lighting. There’s a window above the shower and the sliding patio doors have plantation shutters. (+) No shortage of outlets. The two night stand, the desk lamp, below the tv, and along the walls. (+) The key card is a wireless tap method. (+) Given two complimentary cookies at check in from a local bakery. (+) Anti-slip shower mat (+) Ice machine and vending machines are at the corner. (-) No digital clock. The microwave doesn’t have the clock function either. (-) No black out curtains just shutters (-) Memory foam bed was soft. I’m petite 118lbs and I was sinking which gave me back pains when I got up so imagine if you’re heavier. (-) They reused the sleeves that held the keycards. It had the room and WiFi code on it. Overall, very clean, safe, we didn’t hear foot steps from upstairs or snoring. Walls seem thick. It was a 10 min walk to town to Mojo’s Village Bean for coffee according to Google. If you walk fast pace then maybe 5 mins so we drove. I would stay here again.…
