The hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean, and the rooms, while small, were perfectly functional without being cramped. However, the hotel is right next to the freeway and the rooms aren't that well noise-insulated.
This is a no frills inexpensive motel. The hotel is the least expensive motel in the area (I checked and couldn't find anything cheaper.). It is conveniently close to the outlet mall and other shopping. They have free coffee in the morning. Also, they have...More

They charged for wifi access. Friday night room rate (not including wifi) was $58 for single room. I like motels when traveling by car so I can park at the room door. It was clean and the location seemed okay, minus the 101 Highway next...More

Very hard to say, due to the unpredictability of Los Angeles traffic. Fifty minutes without traffic if you drive 70-75; will be one hour forty five minutes with traffic, up to two hours. The best option is to stay a little closer; there is a Good Nite Inn in Calabasas, which will shave 30 to 40 minutes off of your drive yet still be out of the L.A. metro area. I've never stayed at that Good Nite Inn, but I hear it is comparable to Camarillo.
